PHOTOS! Pictures of Gretchen Rossi on The Dirty were shown on Real Housewives of OC last night. If Gretchen Rossi’s photos from website The Dirty on Real Housewives’ premiere seemed peculiar, it certainly represented a stark change in reality programming.

As covered on LALATE in April, Gretchen Rossi during the season break of season 4 had a shocking surprise. Suddenly in April pictures of Rossi appeared on the website “the Dirty”. Immediately fallout began with reports that Rossi’s counsel sought removal of those pictures. Thereafter evidence of the Costa Mesa Police Department’s involvement.

While the story would eventually die down, the pictures are still online, not just hidden across obscure blogs, but the leading result of image searches for Rossi even today in November.

But last night, the pictures came to a new home - season 5 premiere of Real Housewives of OC. Not only were the pictures referenced, but the pictures were shown with screengrabs. Suddenly reality tv got a bit more real.

In fact, normally when you watch a reality show, starts don’t reference that they are actually on a show within the program. Last night, it happened time and time again.

It started early on when Tamra Barney told Vicki Gunvalson that she didn’t like Gretchen Rossi. Tamra and Vicki met up for lunch to slam Rossi and all they talked about were the pictures … and that “cord”. Clearly the storyline was heading one path - showing Tamra just a bit too concerned about what Gretchen does.

During the lunch, the two referenced they are Housewives, Gretchen is dating a guy whose dated other Housewives, and that Tamra didn’t want the public to see her associated alongside Gretchen and her pictures.

But it all came to a head at dinner set by Lynne Curtin at the St Regis. There Tamra goes at it, saying she doesn’t want to be depicted on tv alongside someone like Gretchen (this of course, as she sits at a dinner table alongside Gretchen). Tamra says Gretchen has a horrible reputation, while it’s Tamra who looks like she is aruging the same point over and over again. Gretchen remains withdrawn, her makeup and hair in place, while Tamara starts to unravel. From there the pictures are shown, several times. Jeana just eats, and tells everyone else to eat, and Lynne just seems like she wants to shout “enough about you and your pictures, let’s talk about my cuffs”.

Real Housewives of OC Lynne Curtin’s cuffs and jewelry line were showcased on the season premiere tonight. Lynne Curtin’s cuffs are incredible, the looks are hot and contemporary yet classy, and LALATE is ready to buy.

From belts, to chains, to stunning cuffs, several of Curtin’s looks were shown tonight. The episode started with Lynne revealing she’s adding staffing as her product previously just in local boutiques is now in Fred Segals and could be heading to major department stores.

The episode concludes with a dinner event at the St Regis where Lynne shows off products from her line to the Housewives. Unfortunately, we hear less about the wives’ reaction and more about Tamra’s beef with Gretchen.

Tamra - who doesn’t know when to zip it - comes across during a sit down dinner as an argumentative mess while Lynne sits back with Jeana trying to enjoy the evening. But probably the best part of the St Regis meet up is when Vicki turns to Tamra and tells he how hot Gretchen looks in a bra-less black number (which she does).

Tamra of course doesn’t agree. Meow!

And while Lynne has online many wonderful items for women to purchase, she only (as of tonight’s premiere) has one item for the guys to buy:

Gretchen Rossi returns to Real Housewives of OC tonight. But in April Rossi battled site The Dirty over disputed pictures.

Rossi to deal with The Dirty and pictures posted online reportedly was aided by the Costa Mesa Police Department. At issue was how the pictures of Rossi were obtained in the first place. The story broke roughly April 19.

PHOTO! Here again is Alexis Bellino joining Real Housewives of Orange County! LALATE was the first to break Bellino’s addition to Real Housewives in July.

Now word that Jeana Keough is out, Alexis Bellino is in for OC Season 5. Alexis Bellino replaces Jeana in later episodes this season.

Jeana tells the Boston Herald she had second thoughts about the show. “I had to get back to work… (The show) was hard on my kids and it made dating hard. But I have second thoughts every day.”

Gretchen Rossi says she likes Alexis. “There’s always drama when you put all of the girls together, but Alexis brings some spice to the group.”

Bravo said of Bellino in July:

“Originally from the small town of Hannibal, Mo., Alexis is now living the Southern California dream in one of the most prominent and envied areas of Orange County. Alexis keeps herself busy by being the best wife and mother she can, and when she does have a free moment, she likes to work out to keep herself looking and feeling her best.”

Bellino is married, with three kids (James, and twins Melania and Mackenna) and lives in Newport Coast. Bravo says Bellino is “spicy blonde who unabashedly lives life on her terms.”

Sounds a bit like Kelly from NY or Danielle from NJ! Definitely hot. And definitely a great casting choice.s
