CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Shakira and Gerard Pique’s Greece romancing is heating up, and dominating Latin American news Wednesday. Shakira and Gerard Pique were getting serious back in February. By March the couple confirmed their amor. But now the two are heating up international news with their public affection while on holiday in Greece.

Shakira and Gerard Pique have been vacationing in Greek Islands for the last week, local news reports. Mykonos locals tell news that the couple appears to be getting very serious. In addition to time in a private villa, the couple headed onto a private yacht. It’s there that the watchful eyes of international news photographers got pictures of the couple’s love.

Barcelona news reporters in February first wrote of the couple strolling their Spanish streets showing serious signs of affection in the Bellaterra area. At the time, LALATE reported news that Shakira had moved European operations to a new Barcelona-based headquarters.

Earlier this year, Piqué would not comment on the couple’s growing relationship. But in February, Shakira surprised news and fans when she appeared on Piqué’s Facebook page celebrating his birthday. Quickly Shakira fans, unsure who Piqué was at the time, asked the hitmaker if that was her new boyfriend.

Weeks later, the publication CARAS (Caras Magazine Colombia) and the website Terra.com confirmed the couple had been romancing since at least February, if not earlier. CARAS would not confirm the price tag for the pictures dubbed “exclusiva mundial”; but Latin news later reported that the price tag was certainly in the low six figures.

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Shakira and Gerard Pique have remained silent about their relationship. But news photos published by “CARAS” confirm the couple’s relationship this month.

Caras Magazine Colombia published the first ever pictures of the couple showing public affection this moth. Terra News reports the pictures were snapped circumspectly on February 2nd at Shakira’s 34th birthday. Earlier, the first picture between the couple was released by Pique on his Facebook; the pic featured the couple together at his own 24th birthday party.

“Las fotos que nadie ha visto (the photos that no one has seen)” exclaims the CARAS cover. The public affection was deemed by CARAS as “Exclusiva mundial (world exclusive)”.

Colombia Reports claimed that Latin American news magazines had put a $100,000 – $137,000 price tag out for the first photos of the couple kissing.  The final sale price was not confirmed to Latin American news. Online here.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Shakira is in love with Gerard Piqué, says reports. Shakira and Gerard Piqué, the Spanish soccer player for FC Barca, first met for 2010’s hit music video for Waka Waka. Shakira was dating at the time Antonio de la Rua. Since then Shakira and de la Rua have ended their relationship while keeping their professional relationship.

But now new reports claim Shakira has moved her operations to be closer to Gerard Piqué .

When shooting her music video for “Loca”, first debuted on LALATE months ago, Shakira rented a former Spanish convent converted into a residence. The now villa is owned by David Meca, the Spanish swimmer. Local news is reporting the Shakira has re-rented the villa recently … for more than one reason.

Locals tell Barcelona news that they have seen Shakira and Gerard Piqué walked around the Bellaterra area near the villa holding hands … and falling loca, loca, lo–ca in love.

Shakira’s sister had already lived in Madrid. Insiders says Shakira has decided to move her European business operations to Barcelona. But is her love life also heading to Barcelona for Gerard? Yes says Spanish news.

Piqué recently inked a job as the face of “H.E. Mango” for its Spring Summer and Fall Winter 2011 lines. When asked about his relationship with Shakira, Piqué had few words recently to news. But on February 2 he posted a picture of Shakira with his friends and family to Facebook (HERE). Reactions on Facebook included “Shakira es tu novia? Wow!” and “Very nice couple. I wish u luck guys.”
