Togo Team Bus SHOOTING

BREAKING NEWS - A Togo Team Bus shooting has killed 3. The Togo Soccer Team Bus shooting attack won’t impact FIFA games says organizers.

But the Togo Team Bus death toll has risen to 3 and could continue to rise.

LALATE NEWS BREAKING REPORT.

Goalie Kossi Agassa tells press that the death toll is currently at three from the Togo Team Bus attack. Dead are Togo assistant coach and a Togo spokesperson. A second team goalie is now fighting for his life.

The shooting was an ambush Friday by machine gun yielding attackers in Angola Friday.

Angola’s Information Minister Manuel Rabelais says eight Togo Team members are injured, and the Angolan driver is the third death. The

The were en route to the African Nations Cup of 2010. Other players say they don’t want to go there now either. Emmanuel Adebayor tells BBC:

“I think a lot of players want to leave, I don’t think they want to be at this tournament any more because they have seen their death already.

“Most of the players want to go back to their family. No-one can sleep after what they have seen. They have seen one of their team-mates have a bullet in his body, who is crying, who is losing consciousness and everything.

“So we will have a good meeting, everyone will go to their room, they will rest and we will see. [On Saturday morning] we will make a decision which is good for our life.”

Alaixys Romao tells the Guardian:

“We’re not thinking yet of what could happen. But it’s true that no one wants to play.

“We’re not capable of it. We’re thinking first of all about the health of our injured because there was a lot of blood on the ground. For the moment there is not much news because they have been taken to different hospitals.”

Togo Football Federation vice president Gabriel Ameyi’s response? That they should have flown, not driven.
