NEW MUSIC! The High School Musical 3 Soundtrack is hitting stores!

Get ready all you Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and gang, fans because the soundtrack for the third High School Musical has just been given a release date!

The album gets a digital release date of October 21, 2008.

LALATE can tell you that this is the first release date announced for any music from HSM3.

So far, nothing has been announced - not a track listing, first single date, radio station release date, nothing. So this is exciting hot news.

New photos hitting the net today of Zac Efron are causing a mass sensation. Only one problem : are the photos even new?

The Zac Efron pictures reportedly from a Madrid photoshoot are spreading across the net today like a wildfire.

But do you notice something wrong in the pictures, too?

These pictures can’t be Zac Efron from 2008. He looks literally cerca 2006.

Early this week, girlfriend and High School Musical costar Vanessa Hudgens shot down rumors that Efron doesn’t bath calling those the craziest rumors yet about Zac.

Give it a few months. With the opening of High School Musical 3 in movie theatres later this year, not bathing is going to look more mild in gossip circles than a bar of Ivory Soap.

Vanessa Hudgens Zac Efron Showers

Vanessa Hudgens speaks out about that report that Zac Efron doesn’t like to shower. And Hudgens also reveals she’s going to Stanford (in High School Musical 3).

Hudgens tells one magazine that she goes to Stanford, perhaps alone, in the upcoming High School Musical 3. “I’m in San Francisco. Part of the movie is shot at Stanford. I get accepted.” She reveals not all the characters go to the same school.

Hudgens says this will be the final High School Musical for the original gang.

But what about those stories that Zac Efron doesn’t like to shower?

Hudgens says “That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Whoever came up with that is completely idiotic. … He showers! He showers! Believe me, he does.”

Zac Efron is such a doll, literally. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens get their own dolls in these newly released High School Musical 3 figurines today. The new dolls for the movie High School Musical 3 are not given a name but clearly they are suppose to be Zac and Vanessa.But do you think they look like Zac and Vanessa?

This is not the first time Zac Efron is a doll.

Zac Efron Ashley Tisdale Most Powerful Celebrities

Zac Efon and Ashley Tisdale have been named among the Top 100 Most Powerful Celebrities. The High School Musical 3 co stars top a new list from List-Lovin’ website Forbes.com.Today’s Forbes list is completely ridiculous. It’s crazy. Who ranks ahead of Zac Efron?

Kate Moss. Kate Moss is as about as powerful as a dumpling at the hands Kung Fu Panda!

But don’t feel sorry for Zac Efron. Producer Judd Apatow, who basically is the King of the U.S. boxoffice from 2007 and 2008, fell far behind Ben Stiller. Ben Stiller?

Number one on the list - Oprah. And yes, David Beckham is No. 5 Most “Powerful” celebrity. Yes, Beckham as “powerful”? The Power list is based upon “earnings and fame”. Stupid. Just because you are a top earner doesn’t make you “powerful”.

Time for LALATE to show these lists should be done!

Zac Efron Vanessa Hudgens MTV Movie Awards

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens look awful for the MTV Movie Awards. Honestly, it’s hard to figure out who looks worse among the two. Zac has to stop with that annoying hair. The hair looks unkept, unclean. It looks dreadful. It’s not appealing.

Equally bad is his style. A simple suit with an awful basic white dress shirt. As one of the top earners among young Hollywood, Zac needs to spend some money and get a stylist to pull it together. Efron looks like an accountant for tonight’s show, not a celebrity in attendance. Is he there to count the votes, or win an award?

Vanessa equally is not looking great.

When you compare this to her amazing spreads recently for GQ and other mags, Hudgens here has little or nothing going on in hair and makeup. Vanessa has pulled it together great for mags in recent weeks. Tonight is not even close. The tan looks amazing. If it was not for the tan, Hudgens would be as bad as Efron for the night.

Note to Zac: You’re a celebrity. Dress like one.

High School Musical 3 Zac Efron SPOILER!

High School Musical 3 has a new spoiler out about Zac Efron.

When you shoot a movie this big with this many extras, you are going to have spoilers. Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashlee Tisdale returned to Utah in May to shoot the feature presentation of the High School Musical 3.

This summer, in advance of the film’s release, Nick Lachey will host HSM on Television, a reality version in which contestants compete to win a possible spot on a future High School Musical project.

But with none of the original cast agreeing (YET) to a fourth project, what do you think HSM4 would be like? The spoilers below.

Zanessa! Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale at the NBA Jazz Lakers game!Did you catch it?

Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale took a break from the filming of Disney’s High School Musical 3 in Utah to attend the Utah Jazz L.A. Lakers game today. It was just on television!

And yes, the game is being broadcast by Disney-owned ABC.

If you watched the game, the sports broadcasters took a break from their play-by-play coverage of the Jazz Lakers game to make sure you have all the play-by-play details of HSM updates. Hilarious. It was like LALATE took over the sports broadcasting booth at the NBA!

Zac and Vanessa have reportedly being showing lots and lots of a PDA during this week’s taping.

High School Musical Press VIDEO

A video for the High School Musical 3 press conference has been released. The High School Musical press video shows Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu meeting with the press prior to commencing principal photography (shooting) of their movie at its Utah location today (Saturday).Doesn’t Zac look tired in this video? Corbin looks so happy and Vanessa and Ashley just look excited.

Meantime initial fan reaction to movie poster for HSM3 premiered here to you on LALATE has been negative so far (even though LALATE thinks it’s cute). Yeah, it’s cheeeeezy, and relatively cheap looking. Hopefully they’ll do another one in the coming weeks if they are listening to your reaction of it so far.
