Cannon reportedly tells People Magazine hitting newsstands tonight that Carey and Cannon’s friends knew .. because the tattoo is relatively prominent.

“Mariah on how friends knew they were getting serious: “One thing (few people) knew was we got tattoos a few weeks earlier. So anyone who saw my (”Mrs. Cannon”) tattoo wasn’t surprised. To me rings are special and exciting, but tattoos mean more than anything. They’re forever and ever.” “

The question remains still .. how many weeks back?

LALATE recently showed you behind the scenes video of Carey with producer Jermaine Dupri JUST released by Dupri but no Cannon insight on camera. The video is undated. But Cannon tells the magazine that since meeting Carey “we’ve been together, we’ve been inseparable.” Source

So how many weeks do think they’ve been together? The two reportedly met during a meeting at the Beverly Hills Hotel to plan the shoot for Carey’s “Bye Bye” music video, the second video off her new album.

And for a hilarious separate story, a man recently sued on the tv show “Peoples Court” a tattoo parlour. Why? Because he hired them to put a tattoo of Mariah Carey on his body and wasn’t happy with the result. Carey is reported to have been told about the hilarious tv episode of “Mariah the Tattoo” and to have watched it.

In all of one week, it appeared publically to go from engagement to disappearance to wedding. But that may not be at all what really went down.

Says US magazine “Mariah Carey knew all along that she was going to wed Nick Cannon, says pal Oprah Winfrey. Before she tied the knot, Winfrey said that Carey had the words “Mrs. Cannon” tattooed on her back. Winfrey dished about the shocking wedding on her talk show Wednesday.”

Gayle King confesses she knew they two were an item but had to keep it a secret. King said Carey remarked, “I do have somebody, but I can’t tell you who it is. It is Nick Cannon. It’s a secret. Don’t tell anybody.”

Oprah says Carey had the tattoo on her back already! “[S]he already had, on her body, the tattoo on her back that said ‘Mrs. Cannon .They were already planning on doing it.”
