While J.Lo does officially tell news this week that she is considering leaving the show, E! is reporting that Lopez has already made the decision to depart the reality show at the end of this season.

CORAL GABLES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were not “married in Mexico” recently. But if today’s hilariously false Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart “married in Mexico” story sounds familiar, it should. It’s the same wrong assertion used by the Star against Britney Spears years earlier.

Apparently there is some obsession with exclaiming a celebrity has been married in Mexico, even when it’s false. “World exclusive” read the Star publication headline years ago. The infamously erroneous Star cover proclaimed to news “Britney and Adnan: married in Mexico. So what if he still has a wife? Anything goes in Brit’s … world, all the details.”

Today, it’s another year, and another celebrity, but the same publication. “J Lo Married in Mexico” exclaims today’s Star cover. “Secret ceremony on a yacht, no guests, no gifts.” The report even states Casper “wants to adopt her twins” .

Like Spears, Lopez hasn’t been married in Mexico.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Did Jennifer Lopez’s Oscar dress 2012 result in a slip or wardrobe malfunction? Absolutely not, says Jennifer Lopez’ stylist. Jennifer Lopez did not reveal what other news reports claimed slipped out during her Oscars 2012 appearance. Rather, Lopez’ dress was designed to create that illusion.

Jennifer Lopez’s dress (photo HERE) was a Zuhair Murad gown. Lopez’s stylist Mariel Haenn tells news that reports about a slip are simply erroneous. Haenn claims that a slip wouldn’t be possible because of the dress’ construction, its underlay design, and its safety measures in structure. Moreover, Haen tells news that what might have appeared to be a slip, or dubbed “sheer” in other news reports, is all the result of a style illusion.

Haen tells news that “The dress fit perfectly to her every inch. There were cups built in and there’s no chance that there were any, how do you say, slips. “

Haenn added “While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke’s on everyone who wishes they saw something! If you thought that dress was hot wait until you see what’s next.”

Who is the biggest pop singer of our time? In a new poll released by Univision news, Latin viewers were asked a series of questions about English and Spanish language artists. While news reports always appear to suggest one celebrity is more popular than anyone, this fan-determined survey released by Univision news will shock you.

When asked who is the most famous Latin singer of our time, sixty-two percent of Univision viewers chose Ricky Martin. “¿Qué latino es el más famoso a nivel mundial?” Ricky Martin generated over three thousand votes.

Ricky Martin’s closest competitor was Shakira with seventeen percent. Chayanne, Jennifer Lopez, and Enrique Iglesias each pulled six percent with Pitbull drawing only forty-five votes. But who is the biggest pop singer of our time? Latin America viewers did not believe it was Rihanna, with only one percent choosing the hit maker. Rather, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga topped the list, nearly double the number of votes compared to Madonna.

Ricky Martin also came atop another survey. When asked what was the biggest moment of the Premios Juventud, Univision news viewers said “Antonio Banderas recibiendo su premio de manos de Ricky Martin”.

And finally, why did JLo and Marc Anthony split? “Marc became jealous of her intimacy in her music videos” most fans explained.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Jennifer Lopez is returning to American Idol, for more than $20 million, claims a new report. When Jennifer Lopez was first approached for American Idol last year, chatter then said contract negotiations involved a $20 million figure. Lopez would eventually get paid $12 million for her first season. Now a new report claims that Lopez has gotten (at least) $20 million to return to Idol for her second season.

A new report claims that Lopez, for her second year of negotiations, used $20 million as “base minimum” for negotiations. While neither FOX nor Lopez confirm the final amount, TheWrap claims that Lopez will get an annual pay check in excess of $20 million for her return to Idol.

Insiders had claimed that Lopez had filed for divorce from Marc Anthony in advance of signing the mega-TV deal. Lopez is still battling ex-husband Ojani Noa. Noa’s new girlfriend Claudia Vazquez wants to release a tape recorded during his marriage to Lopez.

The addition of Lopez and Steven Tyler did well for Idol’s ratings. Idol, however, used multiple gimmicks early in the season to add to the ratings drive. Among them were “How old is Jennifer Lopez” and the “Steve Tyler American Idol Apology”. Tyler’s American Idol apology drew 25 million viewers, one of the biggest numbers for Fox earlier that year.
