Hilary Duff’s dad, Bob Duff, is going to jail for 10 days. Hilary Duff’s dad currently in divorce was sent to jail for contempt of court over Hilary Duff’s 21st birthday.

A Texas judge was unhappy with Duff, found him in contempt, and sent him to jail for 10 days.

His ex wife’s reported response? “This isn’t what I wanted.”

Probably not what Hilary wanted either. At issue: the September 28th birthday party for Hilary. Mom wanted dad to spend $25,000 on the event.

The judge ruled him to only spend $12,500 for the event. Ah, a nice 50%.

The two have been in divorce for over a year. Hilary Duff was not present at the hearing.

CELEBRITY HOMES: New pictures online today report that Ashley Tisdale is now a celebrity homeowner next door to fellow Disney star Hilary Duff’s sister, Haylie Duff.

Of course, this story is not about celebrity mansions, because Ashley Tisdale’s very cute house is also very modest, just like the adorable star.

Chatter online says Tisdale was living there first and Haylie and boyfriend Nick Zano have just moved in next door to the grey and white house. Some message boards this afternoon have fans chattering that the Tis’ may not still live there with mom and dad.
