Aaron Carter Celebrity Rehab?

Hard to believe, but perhaps yes. Singer Aaron Carter will join the cast of Dr Drew’s tv show “Celebrity Rehab” that appears on VH-1 claims online sites this week.Carter had an arrest earlier this year on alleged marijuana possession.

Carter is the younger brother of Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys) that has had 7 albums and is a major talent.

So Carter is doing this show because ….. ?

Also joining the cast will be reportedly former Hollywood Madame Heidi Fleiss and rocker Sebastian Bach. No official cast announcement yet.

Barry Weiss replaces Clive Davis as BMG head, jumps from Zomba (Chris Brown, Britney Spears)

The ranks at music label BMG have changed.

The legend Clive Davis is out as Chairman and CEO at BMG. In: Barry Weiss.

Davis will take on the title of chief creative officer at Sony BMG. Weiss will now oversea RCA Records (Christina Aguilera), Jive, J Records, LaFace, Arista, Volcano, Verity, GospoCentric and Fo Yo Soul.

Weiss was the president and CEO of Zomba that grew Jive Records into a powerhouse with names Britney Spears, Usher, the Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, ‘N Sync, Chris Brown, T-Pain.

Davis found Whitney Houston and has been a force behind all the recent American Idols and most recently also Leona Lewis.

Backstreet Boys are back with their first new video in a gazillion years it seems, “Inconsolable”. But their website is ranked at 131,000 on Alexa and lalate news better at 57,000 to 66,000 all this week? Backstreet fans, what is going on! Listen to the song and tell us what you think. It’s cute, but it’s NOT a hit. It sounds like something I would play in my doctor’s office.
