LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Amy Winehouse autopsy results to determine cause of death are expected as early as tomorrow. Amy Winehouse’s autopsy results have been ordered by a local coroner after the singer was found dead today inside her home in Camden, London. Metropolitan Police confirmed her death and informed news that an autopsy will be scheduled for later; toxicology results could take weeks. But investigators are hoping that tomorrow’s initial results could out rule certain possibilities in aiding their investigation.
Amy Winehouse’s medical problems, far beyond substance abuse, were fully reported across news and on LALATE since 2008. Today, police told news that Winehouse was found dead in her Camden home when they responded to the residence at 4 pm local time. On July 23, Winehouse’s death was initially ruled as “unexplained”.
Winehouse’s health issues as early as September 2008 perplexed fans and family. Family members and reps said Winehouse, beyond substance abuse, battled lung and possible heart medical ailments as well.

On September 2008, Winehouse attracted concerns for her health after she was spotted walking around with cuts on her legs and arms. Winehouse, however, had appeared professionally in tune, finishing up a DJ and acoustic set earlier that day at the Monarch pub in Camden.
But Winehouse’s appearance by 2008 looked nothing like her appearance when she first debuted musically in 2003.
Often her closest aides were unsure about her health conditions. On June 2008, Amy Winehouse had learned that she faced possible emphysema and could die, if she doesn’t stop drugs. Her father told news at the time “To think this could be my beautiful 24-year-old daughter’s life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it.”
He added “But the doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her” Mitch told news at the time.

Her rep would later claim that the singer didn’t have emphysema but had conditions which could lead to emphysema.
In June 2008, doctors were still uncertain about her health conditions. In light of today’s medical advances, it was peculiar for news to report at the time that doctors found Winehouse’s health tests as repeatedly “inconclusive”.
“She’s staying there for the time being. They are still not quite sure what happened and the tests were inconclusive” her reps said during a June 2008 hospitalization. “Doctors want to get to the bottom of it before releasing her. There will be further tests and they will keep her under observation. She seems to be fine … but they are taking their time to be sure.”
Mitch Winehouse said that his daughter in earlier years fought him over her health issues, but later agreed to turn her life around. “She didn’t want to get clean then, but she’s talking about it now. She’s nowhere near as bad as she was. A nurse visits twice a day and we’re kept well informed about how she’s doing. She’s making progress.”
Winehouse at the same time disputed allegations that her health was impeding her ability to record new music. Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Send your love.
