Eminem is not dead. Fake Eminem dead rumors returned Monday night. Eminem’s false death reports first swirled August 16 this year. Now Tuesday morning fans are left asking … did Cyrus die?

No.

As LALATE has reported since earlier this month, something has dramatically happened in the fake celebrity death area. These stories normally hit once per week. In the last 14 days, they have now started ever 24 hours. Now in the last week, it seems they could be hitting every 12 hours.

Last night, it was the Jonas Brothers. LALATE told you in that report that with every fake death report comes the same comment writers who opine the same madness like “there is no report that they are alive, hence they are dead”. And sure enough, within 10 minutes of the Jonas Brothers report, these ridiculous comments: “They are dead, I saw them die.”; “we have the links. this is for real.”; and “look at the facts that no one knows the whereabouts for sure of them.”

Eminem is alive, Lil Wayne is doing well, and Rick Astley is ready to roll.

Did Eminem Cyrus die? No. But Eminem dead rumors are alive again. But Eminem is not dead. Nor is Miley Cyrus. And if fact Eminem has something in common with Lil Wayne today – both alive.

But you probably knew that already.

It’s Sunday afternoon, and you know what means – time for the typical 3pm afternoon fake celebrity death report to spread. Give any Sunday, wait til 3 pm PST, and you will have a celebrity death rumor coming by virtue of the same fact pattern – plane, train, or auto crash. Miley Cyrus and Lil Wayne have both “died” about a dozen times together this year.

But now popular are fake hotel room stories — celebrities out of town in some strange hotel with a made up name.

It’s Sunday, and one thing for certain – Eminem is alive, Lil Wayne is doing well, and Rick Astley is ready to roll.

Eminem’s The Warning has lyrics taking the Eminem Mariah Carey Nick Cannon feud to new heights! Eminem’s The Warning diss track drops today with lyrics about a similar tattoo:

The song then claims old taped recordings from Mariah Carey still in possession:

Then added to tape recordings are alleged Mariah Carey photos. And Eminem adds that Nick Cannon better get a career before he slams Eminem’s.

After the video hit during the MTV Movie Awards Sunday, press quickly scrambled to prove it was a stunt completely staged. Mark Burnett said it was not.

But TV Guide reported that Paris Hilton was first offered the Eminem “role” which she politely declined. TV Guide also reported spies saying technical modifications to enable the fall to occur proved it was staged.

Now reports say MTV head writer Scott Aukerman has confirmed the stunt was staged.

Says reports:

“Writing on his Tumblr.com account (on a post since removed), Aukerman said that both Eminem and Baron Cohen had rehearsed the stunt, which saw the comedian lowering his backside into the rapper’s face.

“Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged,” he wrote. “That’s all anyone wants to talk about, so let’s get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then.”

Staged or not, Eminem’s acting reaction was priceless and the whole stunt was the funniest thing MTV has done in a long, long time.

Eminem had earlier performed a medley of songs including “We Made You” and “Crack a Bottle.” But once in his seat, from above dropped Sacha Baron Cohen’s Bruno right at Eminem.

That prompted a fight, then an exit, and finally people questioning if it was staged.

“But if it wasn’t staged, score one for Cohen, who showed that the rapper, who hadn’t released an album of new material since 2004’s “Encore,” hasn’t grown up in the slightest.”
