Eleveneleven is Ellen DeGeneres’s new music label. Eleveneleven will be Greyson Chance’s music label, announced Ellen DeGeneres this week.

The question remains however is how Ellen’s Eleveneleven music company name will rest with a music band already in business, and online, called … Eleveneleven.

Ellen wrote this week:

“Greyson … inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven. He is my first artist and we are making a record together.”

Ellen issued a check for $10,000 as a signing bonus. Earlier reports had said Greyson had been signed to Interscope Records, never confirmed by the label.

Eleveneleven, the band, however is describes as the following:

“eleven eleven is an original/cover band comprised of musicians from the philadelphia area. ok, now that that’s out of the way all you have to do is ask anyone who has seen an eleven eleven show and they will tell you it is quite a personal experience. the 4 guys welcome their audience with a top notch set list that includes something for just about everyone. this combined with their ridiculously approachable nature makes for great fun.”

UCSD are you ready for Ellen DeGeneres? Ellen DeGeneres alerts UCSD Tritons about a surprise for her Ellen Show’s broadcast Thursday, via Twitter.

Ellen’s UCSD twitter announcement started last Wednesday afternoon and continued throughout the evening. Ellen first alerted followers Wednesday afternoon that San Diego is next up for Thursday:

Followers: I’m having another Twitter challenge in San Diego tomorrow. Keep following my tweets-it pays off!

From there Ellen gave a more specific San Diego location, namely UCSD:

I’m doing another Twitter game tomorrow, & the location is a big surprise. On an unrelated note: UCSD students-practice your surprise faces!

And finally at 10 pm last night, DeGeneres put UCSD on blast, telling them to get ready for the campus excitement Thursday.

Ellen DeGeneres is going to have a baby, says reports! Ellen and Portia de Rossi are reportedly planning a baby for their family.

Exciting!

Claims Star magazine:

“They would love a boy. But would truly be happy with any healthy baby…. [Portia] is prepared to go through it [IVF] 10 times if she has to. Whatever it takes to get pregnant, she’ll do it. She’s been changing her eating habits. Her goal is to gain a few pounds before they start the IVF process. … Ellen and Portia are mad about each other. And having a child together will only strengthen their bond.”

You KNOW that baby is going to love to dance.

Steven Gilborn, Ellen DeGeneres’ dad on “ELLEN”, is dead. The “Ellen” father died of cancer. He was 72.

Steven Gilborn also appeared in “The Wonder Years”, “Damages,” “The Bernie Mac Show,” “NYPD Blue,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “The West Wing,” “The Practice,” “L.A. Law,” “Columbo” and “Law & Order.”

A memorial for Gilborn will be held at the Spencertown Academy in Spencertown, N.Y. on February 7.

He will be missed.
