As LALATE profiled yesterday, Elin Nordergren Woods’ mother arrived on U.S. soil Monday. By 2 am local Florida time Tuesday, a 911 call to Tiger Woods’ home took a then unidentified woman to a local area hospital. Quickly Florida press reported the Tiger Woods woman was on “advanced life support”. That was inaccurate. Later reports said that the woman had been released. Also incorrect.

By sunrise, the woman was identified as Holmberg (who despite the picture above does have blond and gray hair currently). Witnesses says the driver of Black Escalade spotted at the hospital shortly upon Holmberg’s arrival was Elin. Tiger Woods has not been seen. He additionally has not released a statement.

The condition of Holmberg is not released to press. But reports say she is stable, the issue was not serious, and stemmed from stomach problems.

Everyone is asking Tuesday morning  who was the woman of adult age taken from Tiger Woods’ home early this morning now on life support. There is NO answer to that question currently.

Some Orlando press are reporting the woman now on life support is (a) of adult age, (b) white, and (c) blond. Additionally, new reports are in about the Black Cadillac Escalade that rushed to the hospital. Witnesses says the driver was not Tiger Woods but a white female that assert resembled his wife Elin.

The license tag on the Escalade is reportedly one character different than that driven by Tiger Woods during the November car crash.

As of 4:30 AM PST, no further details and no identity has been given of the woman taken from Woods’ home after 2 am local time Tuesday.

As broke Monday on LALATE, Barbro Holmberg is now on U.S. soil. Barbro Holmberg is reportedly the Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy in Sweden’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Before that she held various positions in the Swedish government. Her husband is Swedish radio journalist Thomas Nordegren. Together the couple have one son Axel and twins Elin and Josefin (previously profiled on LALATE).

After the Tiger Woods car crash, Holmberg had no comment for AP and Thomas Nordegren told the wire “I haven’t spoken to her in the last few … .I don’t want to go into that.”

She later spoke to US Magazine after the car crash but before the sea of alleged mistress reports. Referring to the crash, she stated: “This is a private family matter. I’m praying for everyone and everything to be OK. Please let’s just leave it at that.” On Rachel Uchitel, Holmberg told the magazine “You seem to know more than enough already. There is enough for them to handle already. Please can you give everyone space.”

Update #1 The woman has been identified as Barbro Holmberg. She was not on life support as Florida press reported. She was admitted with stomach problems and remains hospitalized.

Poppe Linge of HPG, reports to international press:”The official story from her family is that she bought the place with her twin sister, Josefin, not with Tiger. It belonged to a professional soccer player who wanted privacy.

“I heard she started looking at it last summer and bought it two weeks ago.”

Golfer Jesper Parnevik who introduced Elin and Josefin to Tiger Woods wishes he never did. The golfer who employed Elin and Josefin as nannies introduced her to Tiger Woods while on tour. Now he regrets that decision he tells the Golf Channel. He additionally slams Tiger Woods saying next time Elin should use a “driver” not a “3-iron.”.

He added: “It’s a private thing of course. But when you are the guy he is, the world’s best athlete, you should think more before you do stuff. . . and maybe not just do it, like Nike says.”

Parnevik reportedly also told the cable channel calls to Tiger Woods’ home after the crash have not been returned.

Elin met Woods during the British Open in 2001 when she was Parnevik’s nanny. Unconfirmed reports say Tiger’s first request to ask Elin out were declined, but after repeated calls she agreed. The couple would get engaged two years later in 2003 and marry in 2004. Their wedding cost a staggering $1.4 million. In 2007 the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Sam Alexis.

On Sunday Tiger defended Elin amid reports that injuries to his face were not from his car crash:

“The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.”

His statement also included:

“As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I’m pretty sore.
