MUGSHOT PICTURE! Spencer Taylor thought it best to allegedly steal “Dark Knight” posters from a movie theatre in character, so did so as the Joker.

Spencer Taylor’s mug shot photo as the Joker is well, crazy! Yep, he painted his face before allegedly trying to steal Batman posters. And, oh, yeah, he even wore a costume.

Taylor was arrested in a theatre Sunday. When cops arrived, employees were already restraining him, as Taylor wore a purple suit, a green wig and face paint as the Joker in “The Dark Knight”.

Let’s hope he had the voice down too.

The Dark Knight is already breaking ticket records. Dark Knight made $18.5 million last night during it’s midnight showing … alone! That record was last held at $16.9 million for “Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith.”

In fact, those The Dark Knight ticket numbers are so high, they don’t even include 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. showings this morning.

In fact, some industry reports say they can’t remember when a film had 2 to 3 showing in the middle of the night including New York and Los ANglees.

The cast of The Dark Knight turned out tonight for a red carpet gala. Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Christian Bale, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Christopher Nolan, and Morgan Freeman met press at AMC Loews Lincoln Center tonight in an event reportedly showed some sides of nervousness.

Why? Warners is reportedly very anxious that this could be one of the biggest movies of 2008 in many different regards.

Dark Knight is getting the biggest opening of screens for the year with the anticipation it could open over $100 million. But with the film already pulling in spectacular reviews, the question remains; could Dark Knight pull in more award nominations than any summer blockbuster of recent time?
