Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk Jr were deemed by news reports during their respective seasons as two of the most liked and disliked contestants. But yet they had similarities.

Arie purportedly told his friends that in being cast for the Bachelorette season he had the best chance to win. His proclamation was similar to that preferred by Courtney Robertson last season. On air, Robertson told viewers that she was “winning” Ben’s love. Off air, Arie told friends that he took the role opposite Maynard because he believed he had the “winning” touch.

Courtney and Arie were spotted kissing this week. And ironically, Courtney was winning news coverage from photographers who just happened to be perched with their cameras to get the moment of embrace.

When Courtney claimed she was “winning” in the Bachelor 2012 season, fans became enraged. Others, however, disagreed. “I do believe The Bachelor brought out the worst in her, but honestly, if her “worst” is saying comments like “winning” and waving roses around and being defensive and stand-offish, then I think her character flaws are pretty mild.”

Some viewers thought Courtney’s choice to disrobe for a swimming scene on television was not the real way to find true love. “That swimming absolutely didn’t have place on the national TV and it shouldn’t be shown at all!!! I agree with that. But that is what Ben likes about her, every moment with her was unexpected and it was clear that he was going to pick her.”

Arie received criticism during his Bachelorette season for being part of the publicity machine before the finale. Arie was asked if he would do The Bachelor in the future.

Arie’s complete statement read “(Laughs) Well, you know, my fiancee might not approve of that. (Laughs) No, I’m just joking.” He added “Basically, it’s hilarious because I know that’s a hot topic right now, but who knows what will happen. If I am engaged to Emily, I don’t think it’s possible for me to become the next Bachelor.”

RealitySteve claimed that Arie’s comments were a purposely devised publicity stunt to attract attention away from the real winner of the season and make viewers think Arie wins.

Thereafter, Arie issued a news statement indicating that he was not interested in returning to the franchise. But RealitySteve reported that Arie’s statement made no sense because he wasn’t even offered another role in the franchise.

Emily told Chris Harrison earlier this year “The fact that I still don’t know who the guy here is the one for me, makes me wonder if any guy here is for me.” She added “I don’t know where my heart is any more.” Maynard has battled her own breakup reports as well with Jef, reports the two have denied.

Robertson tells news this week that she and Ben haven’t set a wedding date. But the two reportedly talk about wedding plans all the time. Courtney says as many as three hundred guests might be in attendance if and when they exchange vows.

Bachelor Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are proudly still together, still dating, and might be planning a wedding soon, the couple tells news this week. After months of critics anticipating a breakup between the Bachelor and his winner, the two lovebirds told news that they are closer together than ever before. Moreover, they could see a wedding in their future as well.

When fans were asking who wins the Bachelor during the 2012 season, many were left in disbelief by online spoilers. Those reports before the season finale told news that The Bachelor 2012 winner was Courtney Robertson.

Thereafter, many contended that any win by Courtney Robertson would be short lived. Quickly reports surfaced asking whether Ben and Courtney are still together, while many asserted that they had already broken up.

This month’s Bachelorette 2012 finale will be far different than the controversial end to the Bachelor 2012. Last season, fans were irate when they felt Courtney won over the Bachelor Ben with her “swimming” antics earlier in the season. After spoilers revealed that she was the winner, fans became more enraged, contending that Ben had turned into a different personality during the series.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Courtney Robertson, Bachelor 2012 winner, is silencing doubts about whether “Ben and Courtney are still together”. Courtney Robertson is still engaged with Ben. Courtney is not joining the Dancing with the Stars 2012 cast on Tuesday night’s results show. And Courtney is not set to join the Bachelor Pad 2012 cast. But could that all change?

After months of speculation, and questions whether Courtney and Ben are still together, Courtney Robertson told viewers on the season finale of ABC’s The Bachelor 2012 that she is still with Ben, still engaged, and still has no wedding set. But that was then. Viewers are still fascinated with whether these two reality TV personalities are truly in love or just more in love with TV fame.

Courtney Robertson, at least for now, has silenced her critics. She appeared in public with Ben over the weekend. The two are reportedly living together, spending time as a couple, and trying to grow closer. And yet, no wedding is set.

But is Courtney Robertson, a model and TV commercial actress, still pursuing fame? For now, Courtney is not accepting TV offers.

First, news reports surfaced that Courtney Robertson was joining the Dancing with the Stars 2012 cast. But all DWTS cast members are healthy, none have been injured. Yet PEOPLE claimed that Courtney Robertson would be announced as a surprise new contestant on Monday’s telecast or Tuesday’s March 20, 2012 results telecast. Not so, says another news report.

Robertson has not been in Los Angeles practicing any dance routines. Rather she has been spending time quietly away from the cameras with Ben.

Courtney “is in talks with Dancing with the Stars producers and that it’s possible she could make an appearance on the March 19 season premiere” claimed PEOPLE earlier this week. “It’s definitely not true,” a source told US Magazine in contrast. “The first episode is almost totally together now and everyone has learned their dances.” And what does the DWTS team think? “We do not comment on casting rumors. You’ll have to tune in Monday and see,” an ABC publicist told news.

Second, is Courtney joining the Bachelor Pad 2012 cast? Not true, claims reports as well. Courtney and Ben are unlikely to join the cast for the 2012 season. Rather, another Bachelor 2012 cast member is more likely to join the cast: Lindzi Cox. Lindzi Cox tells news that she wants to do the show. But as of two weeks ago, she admits to news that the offer hasn’t yet been made. “I would definitely do it”. She adds “I would be very interested in doing it.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Bachelor 2012 winner Courtney Robertson won Ben’s engagement, but she didn’t engage viewers. Courtney and Ben are still together, still engaged, and hope to get married. But that news did not resonate well with viewers. Ratings were dramatically down for the season finale of The Bachelor 2012 this week. Even fellow ABC employee, Barbara Walters, couldn’t restrain herself for criticizing the cast and the finale.

The Bachelor 2012 might prove to executives how not to do this franchise, ever again. They chose a previous reality contestant who manifested one personality in one season, and another personality in this season. Viewers quickly felt betrayed.

Ben came into this season with fans liking him. He eventually hurt that viewer support. As Ben progressively sent home women who were worthy candidates for his love, and continued to advance Courtney Robertson week to week, Ben slowly isolated viewers. But isn’t that what every Bachelor does?

Soon, news magazines were dominating the supermarket checkout stands with the same headings. On them, Courtney Robertson was being turned into a villain. On tv, it was no different. But Ben liked the villain and sent her to the finale round.

When Ben chose Courtney, viewers were enraged. When they found out the two are still together, it was even worse. But don’t Bachelors every season anger fans with their decisions? How much worse was Ben’s choice with Courtney, then Jake’s decision with Vienna?
Walter voiced her own opinion, telling news “I love ABC, I’m very happily employed, [but] I think this show is such degradation to women… He’s just an ordinary guy with bad hair.”

In the end, despite what the public thinks, Ben and Courtney found true love, and yes, they were compatible. “Whether or not Courtney made mistakes with her words and attitude, however, the person she was with Ben was a good match” reacted one viewer. But were they the right match?
