Britney Spears’ CIRCUS album leaked. Britney Spears’ Circus album has been leaked over the weekend on the internet. Spears’ previous album also suffered a similar fate.

The Circus leak reportedly happened over the weekend with at least five of the tracks appearing all over video hosting sites. In fact British papers as of Monday were embedding those stolen tracks into their news websites.

How could it happen on two consecutive albums for the pop singer?

Last week, Lil Wayne’s scheduled release of anticipated mixtape Dedication 3 was met with a surge of net surfers looking for illegal copies, a fate also suffered on the mixtape’s previous versions.

Britney Spears’ WOMANIZER has been leaked. A radio station leaked Britney Spears’ WOMANIZER Friday. The leak of Womanizer occurred Friday morning reportedly. And by noon PST, the above was replaced on the radio station wesbite.

Yes, this time it wasn’t an internet site or a distant foreign radio station in France doing the leak. This time the leak was a U.S. based radio station leaking music right at home. 

You would think a U.S. radio station could find something else to bring them ratings or listeners than leaking music?

The text on the Radio Station’s website with the leak ran this morning said:

“BRITNEY SPEARS’ BRAND NEW SINGLE, WOMANIZER, AVAILABLE NOW FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! YEAH, IT’S NOT THE ENTIRE “HIT” SONG BUT YOU DEFINITELY GET AN IDEA OF WHAT THE POP TART PRINCESS IS GONNA BRING US WITH HER NEWEST RECORD ON DECEMBER 2nd. — DO YOU LIKE IT?”

In a time in which leaks have spread first on the internet, then internationally (with a French station leaking “4 Minutes” by Madonna first), and now apparently even U.S. stations, it calls to wonder if no one has patience … or will do anything for ratings.

Respect the artist. Respect the label.

Britney Spears will perform “Womanizer” on X Factor. Britney Spears’ performance on X Factor of Womanizer, her first song off Circus, will be Spears first public performance of 2008.

X Factor, a hit reality tv show, reportedly says of the Britney Spears booking today “Everyone is thrilled. To have Britney involved is a massive coup. They expect ratings to go through the roof when her performance airs.”

The appearance on the ITN show will be in December, close to Britney’s album release date - her birthday December 2.

No confirmation from Spears’ reps to today’s news. Earlier today, LALATE reported that Spears has her cast in place for the music video of Womanizer to be shot shortly, following casting auditions that were heard yesterday here in Los Angeles.

Britney Spears held auditions for “Womanizer”, her next music video, Wednesday. Britney Spears held Womanizer music video auditions at the International Dance Academy in Hollywood yesterday, says reports.

Spears reportedly looked relaxed and wore simple black. Womanizer, as broke here on LALATE, is the first single off Circus, Spears’ next album dropping on her birthday December 27.

Britney Spears’ alleged song “Candy from Strangers” off Circus has been leaked tonight online. But is “Candy from Strangers” really off Circus?

Candy from Strangers has styling of Danja’s “Break the Ice” beats underneath it.

The song is not in the believed track listing of Circus that includes Quicksand, Amnesia, Mannequin, Underground, My Baby, and it’s first single Womanizer.

The production quality on Candy is nothing like the amazing tracks on Blackout.
