Chile Earthquake Today 2013 Felt in Argentina, Bolivia

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Two Chile earthquakes today have struck Bolivia and Argentina as well. The Chile earthquakes today May 12, 2013 erupted moments apart from each other but fostered different epicenters. No reports of injuries have yet to be detailed by local news.
The first Chile earthquake began shortly after 8:51 am local time today. It posted a deep epicenter, however. Officials tell news that the quake started eight-one miles below ground level. As a result the quake was felt only around immediate area.
Officials tell news that the first Chile earthquake started one hundred miles north of Calama. It was roughly the same distance west of Colchani, Bolivia. It was felt west in Iquique, Chile. USGS indicates to news that the quake was one hundred seventeen miles west of Uyuni, Bolivia and three hundred miles south of La Paz, Bolivia.
A second Chile earthquake began at 8:59 am today. Officials indicate to news that this quake was shallow, however. It started only five miles below ground level. The quake was fifty-three miles east of Diego de Almagro. It was ninety-four miles south of Taltal and one hundred miles north of Copiapo. Officials also tell news that quake started one hundred sixty-five miles west of Tinogasta, Argentina.
