LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Some call it “Brangelina Chateau”, but Chateau Miraval since 2008 has prompted more confusion that any Angelina Jolie murder mystery movie. This week, Chateau Miraval is back in the news with more bizarre reports from international news, most just incorrect. While celebrity news can certainly be lost in translation, in the case of Chateau Miraval three years of incorrect reports are coming back to page one from England to the U.S.

By all accounts, Chateau Miraval is not owed by Brangelina. It hasn’t been owned by the couple since 2008, as ELLE France incorrectly reports this week. Rather it’s been rented since that time at a price of roughly 44 million Euros, updates le Parisien.

In recent days, reports from the Sun (Britain), the Star (U.S.), and Le Parisien (France) have been suggesting major changes for the Brangelina clan. But are the reports correct?

First, are Brad Pitt’s parents permanently leaving Missouri to live in the French countryside? The Sun and Star are reporting the parents of the star are leaving for good their Missouri home for the quiet French countryside. Not so, reports GossipCop. While visits might be planned, the Pitts have no intentions of permanently giving up their Missouri home, reports the website.

Second, are Brangelina giving up acting to live in France? The allegation made by the Star is also false, reports GossipCop.

Third, are Brangelina going to raise their kids in Chateau Miraval this fall and looking for schooling there for their children? That could be accurate. The Sun, Star, and Le Parisien all report that Brangelina have been looking at schools locally. And locals in the town of Correns report renovations at the Castle. But not believe that Brangelina are leaving Los Angeles or the Hollywood industry anytime soon.

While fans should expect to see the couple spend the summer at the Chateau, they shouldn’t be surprised if more confusion about the Chateau will also hit international news this summer as well.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Château Miraval (photos below), the Brangelina mansion in France’s Provence region near Marseille and Var, is so enchanting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are going to retire from Hollywood films and just do French construction for the rest of their life. At least, that is the ridiculous claim made in this week’s British news.

The British news is claiming first, that Jane and Bill Pitt, Brad’s parents, are moving from Springfield, Missouri to the rolling hills of France’s Provence, permanently. Second, the reports claim that Brangelina own Chateau Miraval and are doing massive renovations to the estate to prepare for their family’s relocation. And finally, British news claims that Brangelina are retiring from Hollywood to do just voice over work from inside the mansion.

The only thing consistent about that report is that every assertion is wrong.

The Pitt parents aren’t leaving Missouri for good, Brangelina don’t own Chateau Miraval, and Brad and Angelina aren’t retiring from Hollywood.

But time seems to repeat itself, especially in British news. This week’s false news report is virtually the same that surfaced in 2008. In May 2008 news reports falsely claimed the couple had bought the Chateau. Instead, at the time American owner Tom Bove remained the Chateau’s owner. The estate is from the 17th century estate, featuring over 1,000 acres of forest and vineyard. The chateau is believed to feature 35 bedrooms, a lake, a pool, and a moat.

In fall 2008, news reports claimed that in Correns, a village in Provence in close  proximity to Brangelina’s Chateau Miraval, the trend is for residents reportedly to “make up stories about the couple for the paparazzi.” Additionally, “you will be treated to a free glass of pastis if you can get a particularly silly story published, mischievous residents said, declining to be named” so claim reports at the time.

Germany’s Palais Parkschloss is tiny compared to Chateau Miraval. In fact, LALATE couldn’t frame a Palais Parkschloss photo alongside at Chateau Miraval one for you without cutting out half of Miraval from the shot.

But don’t worry.

Brangelina are not downsizing with Palais Parkschloss located in Germany.

Yes, the house is a mere 12,000 square meter, and only comes with 14 people as your staff, a private dock on Wannsee Lake, and your own landing pad. But come on, who doesn’t have staff of 14 and your own landing pad?

How long are Brangelina staying there? Just a few weeks while Brad shoots a film. Some call it Schlosspark, some call it Parkschloss. LALATE calls it nothing compared to the breathtaking Chateau Miraval.

Angelina Jolie baby pictures were part of a complex deal just announced. Getty Images has taken the pictures, assumedly at Chateau Miraval home to Jolie-Pitts. Reuters claims that People will have the North American print license to the pictures and Hello to have the print license in all other countries.
