LONDON (LALATE) – Javier Hernandez (Chicharito), reported to be dating Chaska Borek (photos below) has become the new hero of Manchester United says Alex Ferguson. Gary Neville says Javier Hernandez doesn’t just work hard but “very hard, incredibly hard” to achieve what he has done for Man United recently. And yet despite all this, Hernandez says he is not at United for his ego; he’s there for a team and to win lots of trophies.

Ferguson, in speaking with news today, says Manchester United builds up its heroes very fast for a club. Javier Hernández is the latest result of that praise. Ferguson tells the Guardian that all the praise is well deserved. “The boy is justifying all the praise he’s getting at the moment. He’s very professional, first out on the training ground and the last one back in every day.”

But when asked by the Telegraph what he thought of becoming United’s new hero, Hernández says “The most important thing is that there are no heroes – it’s all about the effort of the team and my goals are down to my team-mates.” He adds that he is on the field to score goals for his team not for himself.

But he also admits he loves playing for United and wants to stay a long time. “I’m working hard because I want to stay here a long time and win lots of trophies.”

That attitude is a far cry from the contract confusion that Wayne Rooney left fans in just days ago, first suggesting his depature from United and then re-signing. Rooney then said “I am sure the fans over the last week have felt let down by what they have read and seen. But my position was from concern over the future. The fans have been brilliant with me since I arrived and it’s up to me through my performances to win them over again.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Chaska Borek and Javier Hernandez aka Chicharito (Little Pea) are reportedly getting serious. Javier Hernández, El Chicharito de Mexico, is now dazzling Chaska Borek after he dazzled Mexican soccer fans during the early rounds of the World Cup.

During the  Copa Mundial Sudáfrica 2010 Round 2 game, El Chicharito delivered that memorable goal as reported on LALATE that gave Mexico the win in Round 2. The entire game has been frustrating for Mexico with nothing sinking. That was until El Chicharito delivered.

His name “Chicharito” comes from his father’s name “Chicharo” Hernandez. His father was the star in the Mexico World Cup 1986 and played for Tecos, Puebla F.C. and Monarcas Morelia.

Before the World Cup, Chicharito said of his playing with Manchester United that “I shall always be the same chap, with my feet always on the ground, and I see this as another challenge in my career. I am, first and foremost, a human being.”

Now today British news is reporting that Chicharito was spotted with actress Chaska Borek at a local exclusive restaurant called the Globe. This is not the first time the two have been spotted affectionately in public. English news reports the two were snapped back in September cozy in public. Reportedly, a recent change to her Facebook account suggests that she wishes she was in Mexico. “Missing him … =[  Wish i was in Mexico right now.”
