JUST IN: There is going to be a Camp Rock 2! Camp Rock 2 has been ordered by Disney with reportedly equal screen time to be share by all the Jonas Brothers and to introduce Frankie Jonas.

The second Camp Rock will premiere with Joe, Kevin, Nick and Frankie spring or summer next year (just in time for summer camp).

Last week, LALATE predictions about Camp Rock all proved correct. Camp Rock was the most viewed cable event so far this year, beating High School Musical 1 with 8.9 million viewers its first night.

Who is Demi Lovato dating? Last spring, LALATE told you that Cody Linley reportedly confirmed he was dating “Camp Rock” star Demi Lovato. Linley reportedly told Twist magazine back in March the follwoing about Demi Lovato:

“[The relationship] is still in the beginning stages. We were friends for awhile, and it kind of just turned into more. I like Demi because she’s so fun!”

Both of LALATE’s predictions for Camp Rock were right! 1) Camp Rock beat High School Musical’s ratings last night and 2) Camp Rock was the most watched cable event for 2008!

1. The Disney Channel original move Camp Rock drew 8.9 million viewers last night, according to Nielsen Media Research fast national ratings provided by Disney/ABC Cable Networks Group. That beats High School Musical 1 at 7.8 million, but short of HSM2’s 17.2 million when Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashely Tisdale were already a bigger name.

2. Camp Rock pulled in the most watched ratings for June 20 on TV, topping CBS by more than 3 million viewers.
