BEVERLY HILLS (LALATE) – Camille Grammer last year was dubbed the villain of RHOBH. One news publication even called Camille Grammer the most hated housewife ever. After criticism that Grammer was the victim of bad editing, Grammer was reportedly reluctant to rejoin the show for a second season. But this season, Grammer has appeared often quiet, sometimes withdrawn, compared to her fellow cast members. This week, Grammer confesses to fans that her appearance was the result of her own battles with Kelsey Grammer, off-camera. Now those battles are earning Grammer a newly found fan base.

Many fans believe Camille Grammer was victimized by bad editing season one and deliberately made to look like a villain. But a quick perusal of BravoTv.com, however, reveals that many viewers believe Camille appears “changed”. From being the nemesis of Kyle Richards last season, Camille is now the soft but no-nonsense housewife. As a result, many fans believe Grammer has become the “hero” of the Housewives this season because of her courage to remain on the show while fighting for custody of her own children.

Camille Grammer’s appearance this week is starkly difference than last season. Grammer tells fans and news she had battles off-camera. “I didn’t know what to expect going into the tea party, however I was pretty much pre-occupied. That week was very difficult for me because my ex-husband filed for full custody and my mind was filled with concern for my children.”

Off-camera, Camille was learning her husband wanted full custody of their children. That personal battle left Grammer almost reluctant to even tape the Tea Party From Hell episode. But unlike other cast members who seemingly “select” when they want to tape episodes or not, Grammer made the appearance.

“For me personally it was a very emotional day so I almost didn’t make the tea party. It was a tough decision for me to even drive all the way to Lisa’s house. I didn’t want to go if there was going to be any drama. I didn’t want to be involved in any because I was going through so much of my own. But there you go, I found myself smack in the middle. It wasn’t by choice.”

Fans have noted the difference in Camille’s appearance. “You have looked sad the last few episodes. Serious. Sorry things are tense and sorry that Taylor involved you in her situations.”

Yet the most frequent word fans use to describe Camille this season is “change”. “You’ve been so strong through all the mess your ex has put you through…with your children as well! You have changed so much, you’re so much more grounded and it’s becoming of you. “

Many fans believe that Grammer’s ability to, by herself, fend off Kelsey’s fights is heroic. “Camille, You are a class act and a role model for women who find themselves going through a divorce. “

Another added “Camille, what a courageous woman you are. You persevere through what must be the most difficult time in your life, in addition to having your struggles broadcast for the world to sit and watch. I admire you and want to personally thank you for sharing your life. “

BEVERLY HILLS (LALATE) – Camille Grammer is happy camel snuggling since her divorce with Kelsey Grammer, she sarcastically tells fans. Camille Grammer is detailing the virtues of a snuggle with a camel this week on RHOBH. While Grammer has yet to answer the pressing RHOBH question this season “who is Camille Grammer dating”, she did reveal sarcastically to fans this week that she has found happiness with the next best thing: a male camel.

Real Housewives have a checkered past with camels. Last season, the Countless LuAnn was almost kicked off a camel on New York. Jill Zarin’s necklace was almost eaten by another camel. But Camille Grammer has discovered that male camels are completely different in Beverly Hills.

This week, Camille Grammer visited the over-the-top party for Pandora, daughter of “Lisa Vander-Fabulous” as Camille calls her. “Pandora’s engagement party by Mohamed, with input by Lisa as only Lisa Vander-Fabulous can provide, could only be marvelous.”

But along came a camel. Camille tells fans that she instinctively went over to the camel when she saw him. “So when I got out of the car I just wanted to walk over to the camel and pet him. It was so delightful because as I started to pet his forehead, he actually leaned forward.”

Camille says that the (apparently male) camel responded well to the advances by the former Playboy model. “You could see his head come down to rub up against my head. It was very sweet. We definitely had a moment.”

She adds “Being such a big animal lover, I was very touched. Back then, it was probably the most snuggling I had done in some time. I had to go and find a camel for a snuggle.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – While Fox has The X-Factor with Simon Cowell. Bravo has The Shi-Shi-Shi-Factor with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yet suddenly this season on RHOBH, Lisa Vanderpump and especially Camille Grammer have lacked the over-the-top personalities that were exemplified in season one. While Adrienne Maloof has kept the storyline decadence alive with the Spa episode, has Bravo’s RHOBH slowly been losing its shi-shi-shi factor?

A year ago, the leading news story for RHOBH was Camille Grammer, her Playboy photos, her feud with Kyle Richards, and her jaw dropping taste in luxury. Lisa Vanderpump equally exhibited an over-the-top fish-out-of-water approach, from visiting the local scary DMV, to her decadent moments at home.

This season, Grammer has barely had any storylines. Viewers did get to see her amazing ski-lodge. But Lisa Vanderpump told us this month that she wanted to spend roughly “only” $100,000 for a wedding. Oh the horror! The true decadence (so far) this season has come not from Lisa but her friend Mohamed Amid.

Bravo has yet to explain to viewers while certain key Housewives like Grammer have been dropped in the storyline department this season of RHOBH. Brandi Glanville, who doesn’t even boast a full Housewife credit from Bravo, has dominated episode airtime. Kyle Richards overwhelms ever conversation (almost too much). And despite how much fans are fascinated by Kim Richards, Bravo has turned Kim into the equivalent of a Kelly Bensimon character for Beverly Hills.

The drop in opulence for Beverly Hills was so apparent that even wedding planner Kevin Lee got angry this month. Kevin suggested that Lisa doesn’t understand what is expected of people in Beverly Hills.

In the words of Kevin Lee, it’s the “shi shi shi” factor. “Beverly Hills, darling, Shi Shi Shi Shi”. Whenever Lisa asked Kevin if she can do something simple, intimate, small scale, Lee was disgusted.”No. This is Beverly Hills.”

With Pandora’s wedding around the corner, there is still hope that Camille and Lisa can still rekindle their inner  “shi shi shi”.  But for now, the camel is looking elsewhere … to Mohammed’s mansion Le Belvedere.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Playboy battle returns to RHOBH tonight between Faye Resnick and Camille Grammer. Faye Resnick returns to the Beverly Hills Housewives tonight, and while fans were surprised she wasn’t made a full “Housewife” this season, Faye tells news it would have been too much for her schedule.

Brandi Glanville tonight throws insults at Eddie Cibrian who now stars in the new drama “The Playboy Club”. But RHOBH has its own Playboy drama as former Playboy women Camille and Faye face off. Much of the drama between these ladies got even worse after last season and the notable  “Dinner Date from Hell” . In subsequent video narratives, Faye revealed more to fans and news later about that infamous episode.

After the Beverly Hills season ended last year, Bravo aired a special entitled Dinner Party from Hell, Producers Cut, in which Faye told viewers  that she knows Camille’s past. “Someone sent me a Playboy shot [of Camille] and it doesn’t look like a Playboy shot. It look a p-n shot…. I know everything about Camille’s past.”

Last season, Kyle Richards started the Faye vs. Camille fight with the loaded question “Camille, didn’t YOU also pose for Playboy?” Kyle knew the answer because the Housewives had reportedly looked at Camille’s pictures in the limo en route to Camille’s Malibu mansion.

Yet, all this was played up during the broadcast. When the episode first aired, news reports claimed that Camille’s past was “revealed”. It was not revealed. It was widely known when the series started that Camille Donatacci had posed for Playboy, that she appeared unclothed in pictures online, that she appeared in Marilyn Chambers’ Bedtime Stories and The N–ed Detective.

Grammer claimed on camera that she didn’t do Playboy Magazine but Playboy’s Lingerie book. Taylor said “It’s clothed? You we wearing lingerie.“. Lisa Vanderpump off screen responded to the comment. “Lingerie? I thought the whole point of Playboy is no lingerie.”

And yet, today people still remember the exchange “The answers to the murders lie are in the world of Faye Resnick”. The remark was not a trial answer but a response OJ Simpson granted during a TV interview after the trial.

Tonight, the dubbed “morally corrupt” Faye Resnick, as Camille called her last season, returns to the series. But while many fans, LALATE included, though Resnick should have been made a full Housewife this season, Faye tells fans and news she is still content as she is.

When asked “Any chance u could be the next Beverly Hills Housewife?” she recently responded “Ha, I barley have time for my design firm as it is.” Resnick’s appearance last season produced one of the highest rated episodes ever for the series. But Eddie Cibrian’s debut in The Playboy Club, ironically, one of the worse ratings for a new show this fall season.

BEVERLY HILLS (LALATE) – Playboy’s Camille Grammer (photos below) is back for a new season of Beverly Hills Housewives, and so is her kitchen. Camille Grammer will battle yet another dinner date from h–ll in season 2, Bravo tells news. If taking on the Housewives and frenemy Kyle Richards was not enough, this season Camille reveals more struggles with her divorce from Kelsey Grammer.

In the promo released to news for season two, Camille Grammer is insulting a particular person. “Big hands, big feet? Big disappointment. I was married to that” Grammer exclaims. But TV analysts are predicting a big ratings success for tonight’s Beverly Hills Housewives premiere; it remains unclear if Camille’s psychic medium is predicting the same.

Bravo understands that last season Camille’s dinner date from h–ll was one of the biggest scenes, not just for the BH Housewives, but perhaps in the history of the franchise. So Bravo is promising a return to Malibu and more trouble at the table with Camille.

Since last season, Bravo even aired a special about the dinner called the Producers’ Cut Encore episode. And while the Housewives will be heading back to the table, some of the guests remain in question.

Get ready your electronic cigarettes, Bravo has hinted, because the table will be set again for dinner dilemmas. Or in the words of  Psychic Medium Allison Dubois “You have two legs, use them!”

But the real drama erupted over Camille’s unwillingness to admit her Playboy past. Kyle had said to Camille “Camille, didn’t you do, Playboy?” Camille responded “Yes, years ago, I didn’t do the main [magazine].” Grammer claimed on camera that she didn’t do Playboy Magazine but Playboy’s Lingerie book. Taylor said “It’s clothed? You we wearing lingerie. You aren’t [unclothed]“. Lisa Vanderpump off screen responded to the comment. “Lingerie? I thought the whole point of Playboy is no lingerie.”

I know everything about Camille’s past” Faye exclaimed.  “Kyle told me every last bit about New York…. in my opinion, Camille is sick, she needs treatment” Faye added.

But despite her criticism, Camille was a major ratings draw for Bravo in season one. When Camille joined Andy Cohen for a live broadcast of WWHL, Grammer and Cohen drew 1.5 million viewers. Grammer’s appearance made that WWHL episode become the highest watched talk show of the evening on cable, beating out  CONAN (TBS), Chelsea Lately (E!), and Jon Stewart (Comedy Central).
