LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Vicki Gunvalson has released text messages concerning her then strained 2013 relationship with Brooks Ayers, LALATE can exclusively report. Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers ended the 2014 RHOC season with her love tank full and with Vicki and Brooks back together dating, and very happy. But as RHOC fans recall at the end of the prior season, Vicki and Brooks kept on breaking up. In fact, the 2012-13 RHOC season finale featured BravoTV telling viewers that the couple had broken up multiple times since filming ended. So what happened? LALATE has exclusively obtained text messages today that give some insight into the 2013 strains on the couple’s relationship.
Vicki Gunvalson, in documents obtained exclusively by LALATE today, tells a federal court that in spring 2013 someone contacted her private cellphone and started sending her text messages about Brooks Ayers. The text messages deliver pages of allegations about Ayers. The documents are attached as an exhibit to a declaration that Vicki has submitted in support of Brooks. The matter concerns the couple’s on-going lawsuit over her failed Vodka business.
On or around May 21, 2013, Vicki got nearly eight pages of text messages to her private unlisted cellphone from a person she claims she had never met. To this day, Vicki is not certain how this woman got her number. The messages concern Brooks Ayers and accusations about him. Vicki writes “I don’t know who to trust. Why contact me now?” Therein, six pages of additional text messages are sent to Vicki about Brooks.
Vicki replies with brevity. “It’s all too bizarre for me. I’d love to sit down in front of one another. But to me it’s a waste of time now.” Vicki adds “You have moved on and in time I will too. We all make our beds and the truth always … [line cuts off]”. Vicki ends “I want the truth on everything”.
But four more pages of text messages are sent to Vicki, filled with more allegations about Brooks. They end with the sender texting “I’m sorry to be so blunt I’ve been down this road”. Vicki replies “It s–ks”, prompting the sender to reply “I know it does. I don’t know you.”
