LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Playboy’s Jenn Sterger (photos below) says the Brett Favre scandal impacted her career. Jenn Sterger’s Brett Favre texting scandal was eventually not resolved in her favor; NFL’s Roger Goodell disputed Sterger’s claims that she received text messages from Favre. Despite demands by Sterger’s reps during the scandal investigation, the NFL failed to even fine nor suspend Favre for texting Goodell ruled did not happen. Rather Favre was fined for not being cooperative during the investigation.

Today, Jenn Sterger tells news that the Favre scandal impacted her career. So why is she still talking about it?

Sterger’s timing throughout the entire Favre scandal has remained unclear. When the case first erupted, Sterger didn’t meet with investigators initially. Collectively the actions of Sterger and Favre, according to ESPN at the time, failed to move the investigation along faster. The story dragged on, and dragged on, the entire NFL season. Sterger didn’t hire an attorney until weeks into the investigation.

“You know, I was trying to go to work. Do my job,” Sterger says in her GMA interview this week “But how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news. … It was tough. It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. All I wanted to do was go to work. Do my job. That’s all I wanted.”

In fact, Sterger’s reps were constantly talking to the news. Goodell eventually ruled “The forensic analysis could not establish that Favre sent the objectionable photographs to Sterger.”

If Brett Favre doesn’t do Dancing with the Stars, he will do what he did in the off-season two years ago – pour a new concrete driveway at home. But if Favre does join the reality show, the Jets will not be providing massage therapists to assist. Yet don’t be surprised if Adam Schefter ends up tweeting Brett Favre injury reports every week.

If you haven’t been texted the news, Brett Favre is up for the role of a retired athlete becoming a television personality. Of course, that’s what Brett Favre has done that for several seasons. He has been commanding more television coverage than arguably any other NFL player the last three years because of retirements in and out of Green Bay, New York and Minnesota.

But in Hollywood, Brett, no one retires. They just go into syndication.

Favre joining Dancing would give news reporters weeks of chances to write sarcastic titles. The good news is that the NFL Personal Conduct Policy doesn’t govern the reality show. But that’s bad news for Jenn Sterger whose Playboy photos could be brought up by news, literally ever week.

Roger Goodell had said Favre never engaged in appropriate conduct toward Sterger. “The review found no evidence to contradict the statements of both Favre and Sterger that they never met in person, nor was there anything to suggest that Sterger engaged in any inappropriate conduct”.

While ABC has yet to confirm Favre for their show, they should remember he was fined $50,000 for being uncooperative with Roger Goodell. But beautiful women, in short dresses, smiling and dancing around Favre on a weekly basis is expected to draw tons of cooperation from Favre this time.

One thing is for certain. ABC security better have a tight lock on production access. Because, as news reported late last year, Jenn Sterger’ father Leo Sterger said “I better not meet that guy down a dark alley.”

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Brandi Favre (mugshot photo below) is out on bail Thursday after appearing in court earlier today. Brandi Favre’s troubles, however, are far from over. Local prosecutors told news today the sentencing guidelines for Favre’s two charged felonies. If found guilty, Favre could face up to 30 years in prison, for each felony, and upwards of $1 million in fines.

Brandi Favre was released on $40,000 bail today. He defense attorneys include Chad Favre, a distant cousin.

Brandi Favre is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and generating hazardous waste. But tonight, news still does not know what the relationship was between Favre, 34, and co-defendant Carl Wynn, 53. Police made their meth bust at Wynn’s home Wednesday.

Brandi Favre’s next court date is February 8.

Favre’s attorneys’ did not speak extensively to news today, admitting they are still learning the details of the case. Favre appeared in an orange jumpsuit today before the Court. Arresting officers first took Favre to a decontamination site yesterday, told her to remove her clothes and bath, before booking her Wednesday.

No other Favre family member was reportedly in the courtroom today.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Brandi Favre’s mugshot picture (see below) was released in advance of her court hearing today. Brandi Favre’s mugshot was taken after she had to undergo decontamination. Brett Favre has yet to comment about his sister’s arrest.

Diamondhead investigators have charged Brandi Favre with two felonies. But investigators claim that the 34-year old sister of the retiring Vikings quarterback is well known by law enforcement. Hancock County Sheriff’s Maj. Matt Karl told news today that his office is familiar with Brandi Favre and that she is “always in trouble”.

Brandi Favre previously underwent a program in the 1990s to erase then existing criminal charges in Mississippi. She was booked on felony shoplifting in 1999 and charged with a firearm offense in Louisiana in 1996.

Local reports initially said her hearing was set for 9 am today. Updated news reports say Brandi Favre will be in court this afternoon. She is charged with two felonies.

Brandi is a resident of Pass Christian, Mississippi. She is facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and generation of hazardous waste. Brett Favre himself is currently co-defendant in a civil suit by two former Jet massage therapists. Weeks earlier, Roger Goodell and the NFL fined Brett Favre $50,000 “for his failure to cooperate with the investigation” on the Jenn Sterger matter.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Brandi Favre (photos below), sister of Brett Favre, will appear in Court today. Brandi Favre will appear in Hancock County Justice Court today at 9 am. On Wednesday, Brandi Favre was charged with two felony counts. She has remained in custody since her arrest, no bail has been set.

Brandi Favre will appear on two felony counts as previously reported on LALATE. Bail recommendations have not been released to news.

Diamondhead, Mississippi Sgt. Abe Long confirmed Brandi Favre was taken in Wednesday and held throughout the day. While Brett Favre has yet to comment about the matter, Long has briefed news how the drama unfolded.

Officers witnessed a meth purchase at a gas station near the entrance of Diamondhead, Mississippi early Wednesday. Those two apparent suspects then lead officers to a meth lab in town.

At the lab was Brandi Favre, claim investigators.

The facility was so dangerous that nearby apartments had to be evacuated. Officers report they found the substance cooking in a bathtub. David Logan and Alicia Kirkland were arrested, charged with sale of the controlled substance; Logan was also charged with intent to distribute.

Marty Grimes and Carl Wynn III, and Brandi Favre were all charged with two felonies – manufacturing of methamphetamine and generation of hazardous waste.

Brandi Favre was taken into custody, told to remove her clothes, and enter the Hancock County Barn for decontamination. She then was put into lockup facilities at Bay St Louis where she reportedly has remained since yesterday.

Sentencing guidelines Favre’s charged felonies have not been released to news.

Brett Favre was recently named as co-defendants by two part-time massage therapists; they claim that Brett Favre harassed them while playing with the Jets.

Meantime, Playboy’s Jenn Sterger has yet to rule if she will sue Favre. Phil Reese, Sterger’s manager, has previously told radio “If the commissioner suspends Favre and puts a program in place to prevent it from happening again … 100%, Jenn would not pursue any litigation against Favre, against the Jets, against the NFL. Nothing. All she wants to do is clear her name. This is not about money.”

Roger Goodell ultimately found Favre did not send Sterger objectionable material. Favre was fined, not suspended.
