ST LOUIS (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – The Brendan Mess murder is prompting questions if Tamerlan Tsarnaev was as a serial killer as much a mass murderer? The key to the Brendan Mess case, ironically, could be Sean Collier, the slain MIT cop. But since 2011, the Brendan Mess triple homicide case has remained unsolved. Now new clues are coming from the Brendan Mess, Erik Weissman, Raphael Teken, and Sean Collier case.
In the wake of the Boston bombing, two domestic violence cases, and four murders and two different dates, are being investigated as possibly linked to Tamerlan. A serial killer most often exhibits a “cooling off period” between murders.
Today, officials told news that Tamerlan, after the Boston bombing, sought to cool off in New York. The New York Police Commissioner today said that Tamerlan even wanted to come to New York to “party” after the bombing. “There was some information that they may have been intent on coming to New York, but not to continue doing what they’re doing. The information that we received said something about a party, or having a party.”
While the statement might sound peculiar for a mass murderer, it is consistent with a serial killer. Rather, after several days, Tamerlan murdered again, this time against MIT officer Sean Collier.
Tamerlan has been painted as a radicalized Islamic, driven to kill others because of a radical belief concerning society. That mission-oriented motive is one consistent with serial killers, however.
At issue, then, is the mysterious death of Brendan Mess, Erik Weissman, and Raphael Teken. They were murdered, in an execution style attack, on September 11, 2011, the 10th anniversary of the World Trade Center bombing. Their murder remains unresolved. Tamerlan previously told news that Mess was his “best” and “only” friend. But after the Mess murder, Tamerlan didn’t visit the funeral, allegedly disappeared for sometime, and reportedly didn’t appear distraught about his friend’s death.
By 2011, Tamerlan was now into his third year of following a person named Misha. CBS describes Misha as the person in Boston who radicalized Tamerlan. Misha allegedly led Tamerlan to hate Jews, blame the CIA for 9/11, and more.
Following the Brendan Mess, Erik Weissman, and Raphael Teken murders, officials said that two or all three men were Jewish. Officials also now tell news, that at the time, Tamerlan had become so radicalized that he was not being watched by Russian intelligence
Who is Misha? He was a “slightly older, heavyset bald man with a long reddish beard”, “an Armenian native and a convert to Islam and quickly began influencing his new friend”.
Officials told news the three men were killed in an apartment, after the killer was let in the front door. Officials at the time wrote that the men’s “throats were slashed right out of an al Qaeda training video. The drugs and money on the bodies was very strange.”
For now, while news reports try to determine how Tamerlan became so radicalized in one year, other reports now question if he was radicalized five years ago, and during that time allegedly beat two women and allegedly murdered three men. For more, click HERE.
