The Daily Mail, the source of today’s report, claims that Madonna is considering the marriage proposal, and may accept. She reportedly adores Brahim in her life but she is not sure if she ever wants to remarry.

Her split from Ritchie was painful. When asked if she would remarry after her divorce, Madonna told news “I think I’d rather get run over by a train.” But she added “Even if we are sophisticated, educated, intelligent, evolved human beings, we like to think in the back of our minds that Mr. Right is going to sweep us off our feet and take us into the sunset, and we’re going to live happily ever after.”

Madonna has yet to confirm news of the Brahim Zaibat proposal. Critics call it an artfully placed publicity story for her new album. The Mail on Sunday, however, claims “Brahim asked Madonna to marry him at the centre a few weeks ago, but Madonna hasn’t given him an answer yet. She doesn’t want to rush into anything.”
