Amy Winehouse Emphysema II
Amy Winehouse’s father, that told the world Sunday that Amy has emphysema, is now correcting his story, along with Amy’s reps, to say she does not have complete emphysema. So which one is it Mitch?
First Mitch Winehouse reportedly told press (Daily Mail) that Amy has early-stage emphysema and an irregular heartbeat. Then, Mitch told the press (BBC Radio 1) that “Amy really hasn’t got emphysema, there’s traces of emphysema. Obviously, if she doesn’t quit smoking, it’s going to get worse, like everyone else … with patience her lungs will recover completely.”
“Traces” of emphysema vs. “early stages” of emphysema?
“Hasn’t got emphysema” but does have “traces” of emphysema?
Come on Mitch.
“She is not diagnosed with full-blown emphysema, but instead has early signs of what could lead to emphysema,” says Tracey Miller, Winehouse’s US rep told AP.
Bottom line - she’ll get better, we’ll all love her, and Mitch is not very good at explaining medicine.
