Lego Batman gets released today amid great reviews dropping for PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable and Microsoft Windows all today.

The game is from From Warner Bros. Interactive and developed by TT Games that created other Lego video games like Star Wars.

One of the great features of the game everyone is liking is the return of unlocking under Freeplay mode once you finished a level. Unlocking enables you to get into alternate sections that you weren’t able to experience before.

HOLLY CASTING, BATMAN! Cher at age 62 is set to star as Catwoman in the Dark Knight sequel formerly called The Caped Crusader. Cher as Catwoman would be opposite Christian Bale as Batman and Johnny Depp as The Riddler.

But Cher will reportedly be nothing like the Catwoman played by Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.

A studio executive said: “Cher is Nolan’s first choice to play Catwoman. He wants to her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years. The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry’s purring creations.”

The Dark Knight is already breaking ticket records. Dark Knight made $18.5 million last night during it’s midnight showing … alone! That record was last held at $16.9 million for “Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith.”

In fact, those The Dark Knight ticket numbers are so high, they don’t even include 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. showings this morning.

In fact, some industry reports say they can’t remember when a film had 2 to 3 showing in the middle of the night including New York and Los ANglees.
