Apple Black Friday 2011 Sales Disappoint iPhone Shoppers

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Apple Black Friday 2011 ad sales disappointed iPhone shoppers today with the device not being adding to discounting. Apple announced its Black Friday 2011 sale ads moments ago, and consistent with news predictions, the iPhone was not mentioned. Other news analysts have been critical of Apple price points for this Holiday season with discounting as little as nine percent on some items.
While the iPhone didn’t make the Apple Black Friday discounting list, the iPad and iPhone did. The iPad 2 got a meek nine percent discounting today, Apple confirmed to news. The iPod touch was slashed a mere twelve percent. But making the most news was the decision by Apple to cut price points on laptop and desktop devices at roughly a mere nine percent on one thousand dollar items.
While consumers might be disappointed by the lack of discounting by Apple of its most popular items for Black Friday 2011, the good bargains came could be found in accessory items. Apple Black Friday were slashed nearly fifty-percent today. A Philips DC390 Dual Dock Clock Radio with Remote was slashed by more than fifty percent.
Many of the best deals were web-only, as well. A Cole Haan 15″ Leather Messenger Bag for MacBook Pro got nearly a thirty-percent discount. But luckily the merchant had price points for all consumer spending levels. The Michael Kors Wallet Clutch for iPhone 4S, a stunning premium leather designer clutch wallet, was confirmed to news today as a one day sale price of only twenty-two dollars.
