ATLANTA (LALATE) – Fantasia Barrino’s Honey Magazine interview about Antwaun Cook is sparking debate Wednesday. While Barrino now tells national news today that she was dating a married man for 11 months, her comments to Honey Magazine in November 2009 don’t say that.

After the Antwaun Cook Fantasia Barrino affair broke (at least) in November 2009 online, Barrino denied she was dating a married man. Now Barrino admits she was dating a married man. In November Barrino said she wouldn’t date a man not in her tax bracket. This week she confirms she was in fact dating a cellphone salesman. Yesterday, Barrino said she’s honest and an open book.

But has she been honest about the Antwaun Cook story?

“Fantasia has always been an open book. Honesty, self-respect, and personal responsibility are values she wears proudly” says a Barrino statement this week.

But in November, Honey Magazine asked Barrino about pictures of her and Antwaun Cook on the net. The magazine (without using Cook’s name, but referencing the stories about him online) asked Barrino the following question:”There’s been a lot of blog talk that you’re dealing with a married boo and even got his name tattooed.”

Barrino responded: “Yes, [the rumors] were all really cute to me. I guess it was something about a guy from T-Mobile? [Cook was a T-Mobile sales agent in a Charlotte, NC store in November 2009]. Inaccurate. He was hot, but I think I’m looking for my own man. There’s no boo in my life, I’m married to my career. Right now I’m not really focused on a boyfriend; we all know what happens when you get them … As a matter of fact, I’ve never even [met him] before. I think I’d want to be with a guy who’s in the same tax bracket as I am … or higher!”

Now Barrino says she was dating a married man for 11 months. In a statement released yesterday, her reps now state “[Fantasia and Antwaun] dated on and off for about eleven months. [She] believed Mr. Cook when he told her he was not happy in his marriage and his heart was not in it. She believed him when he told her he and Mrs. Cook separated in the late summer of 2009.”

Paula Cook doesn’t paint Barrino in a good light; nor does Cook in her filed divorce papers portray Barrino as the victim. Paula Cook claims that Barrino allegedly told her about Antwaun “He don’t want you. Maybe the next time that you get a husband you’ll know how to keep him. That’s why he is here with me.”

Barrino in turn called Paula Cook’s claims a “tale”. “Mrs. Cook gratuitously included claims about Fantasia to sensationalize that litigation and to insure that her tale would be picked up by tabloids. The fact that she would seek such publicity in a case involving her children is particularly disgraceful.”

Barrino says Cook’s claims are false; Barrino doesn’t state which claims she believes are untrue.  “Fantasia read Mrs. Cook’s complaint against Mr. Cook for the first time yesterday. She knows some of the allegations in Mrs. Cook’s complaint are totally false. There are others she strongly doubts. There is plenty she does not know. Fantasia is heartbroken and is sorry for any pain she may have caused. Yesterday, she was totally overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Paula Cook claims Antwaun Cook (pictures below) and Fantasia Barrino had an affair and made a tape. Fantasia Barrino’s Antwaun Cook denials have reportedly existed since January 2010 far before Paula Cook filed for divorce from Antwaun.

Yet the lining up Fantasia Barrino’s differing statements between when pictures of her and Antwaun Cook hit the net in January 2010 and today shows a particular progression.

The Paula Cook, Fantasia Barrino and Antwaun Cook allegations are not new this week. The net has seen the allegations since January. Net reports in January are consistent with Paula Cook’s allegations in her divorce filing against Antwaun last week. Paula claims Fantasia Barrino pursued her husband during his marriage, allegedly starting in August 2009 and continuing until the couple separated.

Paula Cook cliams ” beginning in August 2009 and continuing until the parties’ separation, Defendant Husband has engaged in illicit… behavior which was not condoned by Plaintiff Wife and has offered such indignities to the person of Plaintiff Wife so as to render her condition intolerable and her life burdensome.”

Paula Cook claims Antwaun and Fantasia kept their relationship very open to the public during their alleged affair.  She claims Antwaun “associated with a woman, Fantasia Bariino … wherein upon information and belief has failed to exercise restraint and judgment relative to his marital status and instead frequents bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and the like with such person on a regular basis.”

In Janauary, the net first heard the allegations and Barrino first allegedly responded. Then Barrino was pictured on holiday with Antwaun. Paula Cook claimed her husband had met Barrino at his place of work in a T-Mobile store in North Carolina back in August 2009.  Barrino’s alleged response in January was that you can’t believe what you read. Barrino reportedly in January said the following:

“I am 25 years old babe. I have friends. Very nice looking friends….. You can’t believe everything you hear. If it’s up to everything you’ve heard, I’d would have had five kids, married three times, illiterate, house in foreclosure. You can’t believe everything you hear so watch the show and you get to hear it from the horses mouth.”

When news hit of Paula Cook’s divorce filing naming her as Antwaun’s alleged mistress, Barrino issued a statement. The statement said merely the following:  “Fantasia will weather this storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout a life in which she has repeatedly overcome obstacles and challenges. Fantasia’s faith in God, herself and family remain as strong as ever.” “Mrs. Cook gratuitously included claims about Fantasia to sensationalize that litigation and to insure that her tale would be picked up by tabloids. The fact that she would seek such publicity in a case involving her children is particularly disgraceful.”

Now, one year after Paula Cook claims Barrino started having an affair with her husband, and eight months after Barrino allegedly denied even dating Antwaun, Barrino issued the following statement:

“Fantasia has always been an open book. Honesty, self-respect, and personal responsibility are values she wears proudly. Fantasia believed Mr. Cook when he told her he was not happy in his marriage and his heart was not in it. She believed him when he told her he and Mrs. Cook separated in the late summer of 2009. She believed Mr. Cook when he told her he lived elsewhere.”

Paula Cook claims that Barrino allegedly told her about Antwaun “He don’t want you. Maybe the next time that you get a husband you’ll know how to keep him. That’s why he is here with me.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Paula Cook claims husband Antwaun Cook dated Fantasia Barrino and made a tape. The Paula Cook affair allegations about Antwaun (incorrectly reported as “Antwuan”) Cook were broke last week here. Late today, Fantasia Barrino issued a statement responding to Cook’s allegations.

Paula Cook’s allegations come in a divorce pleading against Antwaun. Paula claims that in August 2009 Barrino hit on Antwaun in a T-Mobile store in North Carolina. “Beginning as early as August, 2009 and continuing up until the date of the parties’ separation, Defendant / Husband engaged in behavior that was inconsistent with his marital status and / or responsibilities to Plaintiff / Wife.”

Paula claims Barrino allegedly wasn’t discrete. “Fantasia Bariino … wherein upon information and belief has failed to exercise restraint and judgment relative to his marital status and instead frequents bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and the like with such person [Antwaun Cook] on a regular basis.”

The notable allegation about a tape reads in the pleading as follows “… Throughout the course of their adulterous affair, upon information and belief, Defendant Husband and Ms. Barrino have at time recorded their illicit … activity.”

Barrino’s statement is brief and simply says the following: “Fantasia will weather this storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout a life in which she has repeatedly overcome obstacles and challenges. LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Antwaun Cook (photos below) made a tape with Fantasia Barrino claims Antwaun’s wife, Paula Cook. Antwaun Cook is not Fantasia Barrino’s boyfriend, claimed Fantasia in January this year. Fantasia made the statement after pictures of the two hit the net on vacation together.

This weekend, the North Carolina wife of the man in those pictures claimed, not only that Barrino dated her husband, but that she was his mistress and made a tape together. Fantasia has yet to respond to allegations by Paula Cook that she had an affair with Cook’s husband, Antwaun, and even “recorded their illicit activity” on a tape. Paula Cook is using the allegation in a divorce against her husband, a T-Mobile sales rep.

Online reports in January claimed that Barrino hit on Antwaun at his work in North Carolina back in 2009. Mrs. Cook claims the same, asserting that they started a “covert adulterous affair” in August 2009 after she hit on him selling phones in T-Mobile store. Mrs. Cook claims, that when she told Barrino to leave her man alone, Barrino told Mrs. Cook that she doesm’t “know how to keep” her husband, that it was Paula Cook’s fault, and that Mrs. Cook should stay away.

Fantasia won season 3 of American Idol in 2004. Whereas Paula is only suing her husband Antwaun Cook for custody, child support and spousal support, she is contemplating suing Barrino also under a state law that gives a right of action against alleged home-wreckers.

ATLANTA (LALATE) – Antwaun Cook (photos below) is accused of making Fantasia Barrino his mistress in stunning affair allegations brought Cook’s divorcing wife, Paula Cook.

Paula Cook claims Antwaun Cook and Fantasia would hang out at bars together, not use restraint, and even record their alleged illicit activities on tape recordings. Antwaun Cook is accused by Paula of doing the following:
