Antwaun Cook, Fantasia Barrino Breakup Following Paula Cook Reconcilation?
ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Did Antwaun Cook and Fantasia Barrino breakup, after Antwaun’s own split from wife Paula Cook? Fantasia Barrino and her boyfriend Antwaun Cook (photos below) have prompted media confusion and denials since the story first broke in Spring 2009. Now Fantasia Barrino, who was accused of stealing a married Antwaun Cook from his wife Paula Cookm allegedly has lost her boyfriend to his former wife. Yes, Antwaun Cook has allegedly reconciled with wife Paula Cook. The news follows reports of Barrino allegedly undergoing allegedly two pregnancies, allegedly one abortion, and one baby birth.
The bizarre Antwaun Cook and Fantasia Barrino scandal started back in 2009. In January that year, reports claims Fantasia met Cook at his then T-Mobile store in Charlotte, NC where he reportedly was in sales. Paula Cook quickly filed for divorce and claimed that the alleged cheating started months earlier.
Paula wrote “Moreover, beginning in August 2009 and continuing until the parties’ separation, Defendant Husband has engaged in illicit.” She added such “behavior which was not condoned by Plaintiff Wife and has offered such indignities to the person of Plaintiff Wife so as to render her condition intolerable and her life burdensome.”

Paula Cook said Fantasia was her husband’s mistress. “Husband has had an adulterous relationship during the course of the marriage … Defendant Husband has associated with a woman, Fantasia Barrino”. She added “wherein upon information and belief has failed to exercise restraint and judgment relative to his marital status and instead frequents bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and the like with such person on a regular basis.”

In January 2010, when news of the allegations hit, Fantasia said she didn’t know Cook and that she was a single woman. She denied, not only dating him, but even knowing him. “I guess it was something about a guy from T-Mobile? Inaccurate. He was hot, but I think I’m looking for my own man. There’s no boo in my life, I’m married to my career.”
Not so said Paula. She called the situation an “illicit activity”. “Throughout the course of their adulterous affair, upon information and belief, Defendant Husband and Ms. Barrino have at time recorded their illicit … activity.”
In November 2010, Radar Online claimed that Barrino “admitted she got pregnant by her married lover Antwaun Cook and had an abortion around the time of her failed suicide attempt.” Neither of the parties have yet to confirm that testimony given before a closed courtroom.
Finally, in 2011, Fantasia was pregnant (allegedly again) by Cook. But when she issued a news statement to press about her baby’s birth, she didn’t mention who the father was. “I’m having a boy. I’m at home, I’m on bed rest right now.” PEOPLE noted at the time that Barrino “still has not spoken about the baby’s father”. She would not indicate if the family includes Cook, prompting PEOPLE to even question the subject at the time.
Now Radar Online claims that Paula Cook is allegedly being intimate with Antwaun, that the two allegedly are back together, and that Antwaun has allegedly broke up with Barrino. “Antwaun has lost interest in Fantasia” claims the report.
