ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The Fantasia Barrino, Antwaun Cook baby birth is expected for today. Fantasia Barrino is in labor with Antwaun Cook’s baby. The American Idol singer entered labor roughly two hours ago, reports claim. Antwaun is still married to his estranged wife, Paula Cook.

Antwaun’s wife Paula Cook claimed Fantasia had an affair with her husband starting in August 2009. “Beginning as early as August, 2009 and continuing up until the date of the parties’ separation, Defendant / Husband engaged in behavior that was inconsistent with his marital status and / or responsibilities to Plaintiff / Wife” Paula Cook claimed in her divorce papers.

In 2009, pictures surfaced online of Antwaun Cook and Barrino dating. But in a Honey Magazine interview at the time, Barrino denied dating Cook at the time. “Yes, [the rumors] were all really cute to me. I guess it was something about a guy from T-Mobile? [Cook was a T-Mobile sales agent in a Charlotte, NC store in November 2009]. Inaccurate. He was hot, but I think I’m looking for my own man. There’s no boo in my life, I’m married to my career.”

Barrino went on to claim she didn’t even know Antwaun. Barrino told Honey that she had never even met Cook before. “Right now I’m not really focused on a boyfriend; we all know what happens when you get them … As a matter of fact, I’ve never even [met him] before. I think I’d want to be with a guy who’s in the same tax bracket as I am … or higher!”

Fantasia would later say that she was open book her fans. “Fantasia has always been an open book. Honesty, self-respect, and personal responsibility are values she wears proudly” said a Barrino representative in 2010.

Cook and Barrino previously were set to have a baby. Radar Online claimed that Barrino previously “admitted she got pregnant by her married lover Antwaun Cook and had an abortion around the time of her failed suicide attempt.”

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Fantasia Barrino and Antwaun Cook are having a baby. Fantasia is pregnant, and Antwaun Cook (photos below) is believed to be the father. Fantasia has been dating Cook since 2009. In two years, Fantasia and Cook have been the subject of multiple controversies and criticism from then wife Paula Cook. A previous report, additionally, had claimed that Barrino was allegedly once before pregnant with Cook’s child.

Paula Cook claimed her husband Antwaun had met Barrino at his place of work in a T-Mobile store in North Carolina back in August 2009. By January 2010, Fantasia was questioned if she was dating Cook. The questions came after pictures surfaced online of Cook with Barrino.

Barrino in January 2010 told Honey Magazine news that “You can’t believe everything you hear”. Barrino was specifically asked if she had been dating a “guy from T-Mobile”. She called the reports all false. “Inaccurate. He was hot, but I think I’m looking for my own man.”

Fantasia also said that she wasn’t looking for a man but focused on her career. Paula Cook claimed Barrino wasn’t just looking for any man, but was looking to steal her husband. “There’s no boo in my life, I’m married to my career” Barrino claimed at the time.

Paula Cook eventually filed for divorce. In her court papers, Cook called Barrino her husband’s mistress. Barrino said that was false and inserted up to sell newspapers. “Mrs. Cook gratuitously included claims about Fantasia to sensationalize that litigation and to insure that her tale would be picked up by tabloids.”

But months later, Barrino told news that she had been dating Cook all along, that he was “her boo”, that he did work for T-Mobile. But, she said she believed he was separated at the time. “She believed him when he told her he and Mrs. Cook separated in the late summer of 2009. She believed Mr. Cook when he told her he lived elsewhere.” Yet Barrino said of herself that she “was always been an open book. Honesty, self-respect, and personal responsibility are values she wears proudly.”

Barrino would turn the scandal into a TV special for “Behind the Music”. During that special she said “I just sat in the closet and looked at the mirror and took all the pills in the bottle. I wanted to go to sleep and just be at peace.”

In November, Radar Online claimed that Barrino “admitted she got pregnant by her married lover Antwaun Cook and had an abortion around the time of her failed suicide attempt.”

Last weekend, in Jacksonville, Florida, Barrino told patrons she is pregnant. She did not confirm that Cook is the father. “You are the first persons that I share this news with,” she told patrons. “And I share this with you because I can relate to you, And for a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me.”

Fantasia added “But now I tell you, I don’t live my life for folk. So this child that I carry, God has given me this child. And I don’t have to hide it from none of y’all.”

But on Monday, Fantasia took the stand in a North Carolina courtroom. Fantasia was called to give testimony about her affair with Antwaun Cook. This follows months in which critics have said Fantasia has not been consistent in her statements about Antwaun Cook.

“Fantasia has always been an open book. Honesty, self-respect, and personal responsibility are values she wears proudly” said a Barrino representative in a news statement last summer. But in November 2009, Barrino denied a relationship with Cook to Honey Magazine. She even added “I’ve never even [met him] before. I think I’d want to be with a guy who’s in the same tax bracket as I am … or higher!”

Now Paula Cook is debating going after Barrino. Barrino’s attorney claims Paula Cook has threatened to sue Barrino.

On Monday, Radar Online claimed that Barrino “admitted she got pregnant by her married lover Antwaun Cook and had an abortion around the time of her failed suicide attempt.” Neither of the parties have yet to confirm that testimony given before a closed courtroom.

Paula Cook has previously claimed that Barrino told her about Antwaun “He don’t want you. Maybe the next time that you get a husband you’ll know how to keep him. That’s why he is here with me.”

Behind the Music will feature Fantasia talking about her scandal with Antwaun Cook this Tuesday. The same day Barrino releases her new album “Back to Me”. PEOPLE obtained an early transcript of the statements Barrino will tell viewers about the affair, an affair that wife Paula Cook claims ruined her marriage. In the few passages released to news by VH-1, Barrino uses “I” nine times in roughly eight sentences.

“I didn’t have any fight in me. I didn’t care about anything. I just wanted out…I wanted out. I wanted it to be over with – all of it, all of that… I just sat in the closet and looked at the mirror and took all the pills in the bottle. I wanted to go to sleep and just be at peace. I knew exactly what I was doing. “

To understand the peculiar, often unexplained, switches in the Barrino Cook drama, one needs to go back to August 2009. Barrino now claims she met Cook at the time and that he told her was separated from his wife Paula Cook at the time. Paula Cook two weeks ago filed for divorce from Antwaun claiming instead she and Antwaun separated in June 2010.

Recently, Fantasia’s rep issued a statement that she  “ has always been an open book. Honesty, self-respect, and personal responsibility are values she wears proudly”. But would you agree with that statement after you read her interview with Honey Magazine in December in which she denies any involvement with Antwaun Cook?

The magazine referenced pictures of her and Cook online in winter 2009. Cook was then a T-Mobile sales agent in North Carolina. The magazine asked her ”There’s been a lot of blog talk that you’re dealing with a married boo and even got his name tattooed.” Barrino responded: “I guess it was something about a guy from T-Mobile? Inaccurate. He was hot, but I think I’m looking for my own man.”

“Own man”? It’s not quite clear what she means by her “own”.

Barrino continued in her interview by adding that she was single “There’s no boo in my life, I’m married to my career. Right now I’m not really focused on a boyfriend; we all know what happens when you get them.”

Barrino even denied meeting Cook previously and even says he’s not in her tax bracket. “As a matter of fact, I’ve never even [met him] before. I think I’d want to be with a guy who’s in the same tax bracket as I am … or higher!”

By early August, news hit that Paula Cook was divorcing Antwaun Cook. Paula claimed the two had an affair. Barrino’s response was that Paula Cook is seeking publicity.”The fact that she would seek such publicity in a case involving her children is particularly disgraceful.” But this week, it was Barrino not Paula Cook who allegedly shot footage of a meetup with Antwaun Cook with a tv crew. The footage is allegedly for an upcoming reality show. The footage was recorded just days after Barrino claimed to have suffered an “overdose”.

Paula Cook is now speaking out. “She is saddened and disheartened by the end of her marriage,” her divorce attorney Tamela Wallace tells PEOPLE. “She’s embarrassed, and humiliated and distressed by the lack of respect that was shown for her marriage by Ms. Barrino. It’s that kind of brazen behavior that Mrs. Cook has had to endure for the last 11 months, until June of this year. This is something that has caused her emotional distress, pain, anguish.”

Meantime, Barrino’s attorney claims Paula Cook has threatened to sue Barrino. A state law reportedly allows for damages for alienation of affection if the Cooks were still together at the time of the alleged affair.
