LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The celebrity rehab cast revealed for season five features a Lohan and Lolita. The Celebrity Rehab cast was revealed by VH-1 to news recently, but underwent minor casting adjustments since then. Many of the cast members are persons who have been the subject of celebrity news for years, but never having appeared in a television show or motion picture themselves.

But despite all the alleged twists in casting decisions this season, VH-1 pulled together a cast drawing from baseball, music, film, and even … adult videos. It was years ago that LALATE saw Bai Ling acting peculiar in a bar in Los Angeles, and when Amy Fisher told LALATE her desire to do reality tv programming. Now the women join former Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson.

In fact, the word “former” repeats itself in a news release about the new cast. There is a former Guns ‘N Roses rocker Steven Adler, a former top actress, a former baseball great, and a former relevant tabloid father.

Nearly a year ago, Dina Lohan and Michael Lohan were a constant fixture of celebrity news. Dina said he’s “never” been a father for his children. Michael Lohan told press he wanted to seek a conservatorship for Lindsay in 2010. “Jamie Spears was dealing with a wife that was on his side, and not enabling. I’m dealing with an ex wife that wants nothing to do with helping Lindsay get better.” Lindsay had twittered the dispute calling her father “nuts”.

A year before that, Lohan made news for his allegiance with Jon Gosselin. “Jon is a friend, he’s a great guy, he needed a place to get away to.”

And in 2008, he said that his ex wife wouldn’t bringing her children to their grandfather’s funeral. “My father just, literally, died in my arms. I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina’s attorney. Let’s see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral.” He added “THIS will show her true colors! Thus, not even a call. But that’s par for the course with Dina! She didn’t even send a card or visit when he was sick.”

The complete cast includes Lohan, Sean Young (“Blade Runner”), Dwight ‘Doc’ Gooden (baseball star), Amy Fisher (“Long Island Lolita”), Steven Adler (Guns ‘n Roses), Bai Ling (“The Crow”), Jessica ‘Sugar’ Kiper (Survivor), and Jeremy Jackson (“Baywatch”) on their quest for sobriety.  The show premieres Sunday, June 26th at 9PM on VH1.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Amy Fisher is checking into Celebrity Rehab. Amy Fisher who came to fame as Joey Buttafuoco’s Long Island Lolita, would eventually release a tape, like Buttafuoco, and launch a whole new line of videos. In 2008, Fisher first exclusively revealed to LALATE her plans to enter into reality TV programming. Now Fisher is back, heading to VH-1 this June.

Amy Fisher joins the fifth season of VH1 realize show hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky. But this time, Pinsky lines up an unusual mixture of characters, from Michael Lohan to Dwight Gooden. While VH-1’s news statement this week calls the season a “raw and unflinching look at the many faces of addiction”, the advance news has yet to indicate what Fisher’s addiction is. The purpose of the show, claims VH-1, is to show that “rehab is not a glamorous spa vacation for celebrities as portrayed in the media but a profound life changing process that offers hope for a better life.”

Normally producers prevent cast members from revealing plot lines, and in this case treatments, prior to the show’s premiere. But in an unusual twist, Amy Fisher, always outspoken, recently tweeted how working with Dr Drew has already changed her life, weeks before the show even airs. Producers have yet to comment about Fisher’s tweets.

In a recent message on Twitter (edited for obvious reasons), the video star writes “I stopped filming [...] movies after a month with Dr Drew in Rehab.” Fisher doesn’t indicate if stopping movies was the purpose of her treatment, or just something that her treatment impacted. As to those videos, Fisher tells fans and news “It wasn’t working for me and he made me see that. He is the greatest.”

Fans reportedly were shocked by Fisher’s comments, prompting the tape star to clarify “I am a free spirit. I will continue to dance, maybe some [suggestive] PPV’s and photo shoots, just no more …. for me.”

Howard Stern Show apology to Amy Fisher

Lou Bellera, Amy Fisher’s husband, tells LALATE NEWS exclusively that the Howard Stern Radio Show solicited Amy Fisher through her reps to appear on Stern’s radio program, promised Fisher that she would not have telephone callers for her segment, and renewed that promise to Fisher seconds before going live on air, only to break that exact promise by opening the Fisher interview immediately with a telephone caller, the daughter of Mary Jo Buttafuoco.

Fisher was prepared to discuss her upcoming reality show, which LALATE broke exclusively; however, that never happened.

Moments ago, LALATE NEWS has been provided exclusive emails between the Howard Stern Show and Bellera written subsequent to this morning’s broadcast. Bellera had sent The Stern Show an email stating that “parameters we agreed upon were not adhered to” by the Stern Show, to which the Show’s representative responded by stating ‘I apologize for the way things went this morning.”
