Clive Davis made it official. Whitney Houston’s first original album since 2002 will drop this holiday season.

But Davis promises her tracks will be Whitney styled, rather than depart her sound to conform with current music trends.

“We’re on track for a holiday release,” Davis told Billboard’s Music & Money Symposium, according to Reuters. “We’re not going to compromise who she is to fit into today’s hip-hop radio market. The public wants Whitney material.”

Davis says four have been done and four more will be finished this month. “Songs have been produced and written by BLACK EYED PEAS singer WILL.I.AM, songwriter SEAN GARRETT and R&B singer AKON” reports the Insider.

I love Akon’s music. But that’s not what this story is about. Its about his antics on stage this year that now has him in trouble.

As reported by AP, in April, Akon had on-stage simulated sex with a 14-year-old girl during a concert in Trinidad.

Now he’s at it again, allegedly tossing an audience member from the stage earlier this year.

And where does he allegedly do it? In a town called FISHKILL.

Who tosses people from a stage, let alone in a town called Fiskill?! HELLO!

Now he’s been charged.

Akon will appear in “Fishkill Town Court” (yeah, that’s what it’s called) on Monday for arraignment on a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, and second-degree harassment, a violation, according to Police Chief Donald Williams.

AP reports that allegedly a security guard during the Akon concert chose a 15-year-old from the audience, brought him up on stage, Akon picted him up, and tossed him into the crowd.

The kid landed on Abby Rosa who now claims to have a concussion.

The singer’s lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, released a statement subsequent to this incident on June 3 concert stating nothing denying any wrongdoing.
