Adam Lambert Not Dead – Singer Battles Fake Death Jet Ski Story

Adam Lambert Not Dead - Singer Battles Fake Death Jet Ski Story not died 2012

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Adam Lambert is not dead. The hit singer is the victim of a fake death story today. The fabricated tale claims that Adam Lambert died this September 2012 in a Turks and Caicos Islands jet ski crash. The same fake story has been used before against musicians and reality TV-stars. But Adam Lambert fans tonight are irate about this attack Saturday evening.

Morgan Freeman has not died this September 2012. Desmond Elliot death reports this week are false. But now, someone is targeting Adam Lambert, and fans are furious. There are at least two fabricated tales striking Adam Lambert tonight. Both are from Global Associated aka Mediafetcher.

The first fake Global story claims that Adam died on a jet-ski, even though he wasn’t on a jet ski today. “Musician – Adam Lambert dies following Jet-Ski crash in Turks and Caicos Islands” proclaims the fabricated Global story. The erroneous story then states “Musician Adam Lambert died while … in a Jet-Ski accident – September 15, 2012″.

The second fake Global story then claims that Adam died in a hospital today that doesn’t even exist. “Actor Adam Lambert hospitalized after traffic altercation” proclaims the false Global story. The erroneous story then states that Lambert is in “serious condition and taken to Golden State Regional Hospital after a minor traffic accident that escalated into a physical altercation in Fullerton CA.”

Yet, there is no such hospital with that name. The bizarre tale claims that Lambert’s “BMW struck a pickup truck towing landscaping equipment.” If the story sounds familiar, it should.

Lambert is the latest victim to be targeted by Global with jet ski and Fullerton car crash stories. As to the Fullerton story, Lambert joins Lil Wayne and Morgan Freeman, both previously targeted with the same tale. In March, Lil Wayne battled the same death report from Global Associated claiming that his “BMW struck a pickup truck towing landscaping equipment.” The same fake report has been used also against Tom Green.

But if Global isn’t killing off singers with pickup trucks, then it’s apparently using jet-ski accidents. Ja Rule, Bret Michaels, Chris Brown, and Mac Miller have all been subjected to the same fake jet ski story. Global today has taken a pre-written story about a jet-ski crash and simply swapped out Mac Miller’s name and added in Adam’s name. Both reports indicate at the bottom “this is …. based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes”. It remains unclear what is entertaining in fabricating Adam Lambert’s death.

The fake jet ski crash story, however, is a relatively new fabricated tale. As a result, it caused confusion last December when used against J Cole. In recent months, Global Associated most often killed off music celebrities with their dubious Route 80 car crash story, and killed off film actors with the repeated Zermatt snowboard crash story.

Adam Lambert is not dead. Morgan Freeman hasn’t died. Mac Miller is alive and Lil Wayne hasn’t been on a jet-ski today.

Adam Lambert American Idol Judge Role Pursued by Producers

Adam Lambert American Idol Judge Role Pursued by Producers

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Is Adam Lambert becoming an American Idol judge? An Adam Lambert American Idol judge role is being pursued by producers, insiders report to E! Monday. Adam Lambert and American Idol have been negotiating his return to the show as a judge. But who would Adam replace as a judge on Idol?

American Idol has reportedly been keen on adding the superstar to the show as a new direction is taken in the production. E! sources report that producers believe the show needs to reinvent itself yet again. Reportedly, some criticism has centered upon whether last season’s judges were not critical enough of performers.

Officials reportedly also want to reinvigorate viewers amid falling year to year ratings. Currently, none of the judges have signed on for a new season. Current judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler haven’t completely ruled out leaving, or returning.

Producer Nigel Lythgoe tells news “as of this moment in time, we are still in negotiations as we are with everybody. Everything is up in the air.” A Tyler source tells news “All up in the air,” the source said. “We shall see.”

One E! source claims Randy Jackson could be let go. “Randy is great, but he’s part of the old Idol. They want to keep the soul of the show but have a new look, and for that reason he may well not be part of the new line up.”

Adam Lambert Uses 30th Birthday for Charity Drive

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Adam Lambert announced “Never Close Our Eyes” will be the second single off his hit album Trespassing in a statement to news Wednesday. “Never Close Our Eyes” was announced by Lambert on his WhoSay page, with Lambert debuting the artwork for the single.

Within the hour, Lambert told fans “2nd Single off of Trespassing will be Never Close Our Eyes.” Fans applauded Lambert’s decision. One wrote “this is what I was hoping for” while many wrote “luv this song”.

“Never” follows the album’s debut single “Better Than I Know Myself” announced to news on December 15. “Better” went to number six in Finland and number nine on the Japan Hot 100. “Better” made news domestically reaching twenty-four on the US Adult Pop Songs.

In speaking about “Better”, Lambert previously told news that “anybody that is in any kind of relationship can relate to that feeling of being able to tell your lover, ‘You know what, I might have messed up. I’m really sorry if I don’t make it clear how much I need you, how much I love you.’ “

Lambert previously told news that, in preparation for the album, “We have to go through all the politics, the final details to get it right. But I think we are going to be really, really excited about this album.” For the artwork on “Never”, click HERE.

Adam Lambert Music Dispute Takes New Turn: EXCLUSIVE

LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – The Adam Lambert dispute with Colwel Platinum Entertainment took a new turn earlier this month. Last year, Colwel Platinum Entertainment retained attorney Joseph Golden to bring a lawsuit against Lambert regarding 2007-2008 music tracks. In January, Golden claimed that his client, Colwel, and Lambert were negotiating a possible settlement of the case. But settlement was thereafter not reached. Lambert filed his own response to the suit seeking a jury trial in the matter. LALATE can now report that Golden is no longer representing Colwel, having been replaced by a new attorney Edwin F McPherson.

In January, Golden and Lambert’s attorney agreed in a court document that a possible settlement might be reached. “The parties’ transactional counsel have negotiated and agreed upon the material terms of a settlement of this action of all the claims asserted herein.” They also wrote “The negotiation and agreed upon material terms of that settlement are reflected in a series of emails between said counsel between November 15 and December 21, 2011.”

But ultimately Lambert and Colwel didn’t reach a settlement, as previously reported on LALATE in January. As a result by mid January, Lambert made clear that he would fight the Colwel case. Lambert filed a response to the lawsuit seeking, if he prevails at trial, an award of his costs, disbursements, and attorney’s fees.

But on February 18, the same Colwel counsel that believed a settlement would be reached in January was replaced in the case. Joseph Lee Golden has now been replaced by Edwin F. McPherson.

The lawsuit against Lambert concerns a series of songs that Adam performed between September 2007 and June 2008.  Adam claims that the recordings were made for “demo” purposes only, and that in no way did Adam ever intend his alleged demos to made into an album or sold commercially.

In October 2011, an album entitled Beg For Mercy featuring those tracks went into presale on Amazon.com. In or about mid October 2011, Lambert, through his authorized agent allegedly “sent Amazon.com a takedown notice dated October 11, 2011″  claimed the complaint. As a result of that takedown notice, pre-orders received by Amazon.com were allegedly not able to be shipped. Customers were allegedly refunded their money, the complaint assets.

The case is Colwel Platinum Entertainment Inc v. Adam Lambert, case number CV11-9062-PA (MANx). Lambert is still represented by the same attorney, Kevin S Marks of Gang Tyre Ramer and Brown of Beverly Hills.

Adam Lambert Queen Report Was False, No Tour Set

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Adam Lambert is not Queen’s new frontman. Adam Lambert is not going on tour with Queen. A published British tabloid report today about Adam and Queen is false, Lambert told news and fans moments ago. Earlier today, LALATE reported skepticism about the report published about the American Idol singer. Now Adam has taken to Facebook to confirm the British tabloid took his words out of context.

In a news statement moments ago, Adam stated “Oooh them clever reporters takin my quotes outta context.” Lambert added “I haven’t confirmed any guest appearances. I was talking about the EMA’S.” Lambert doesn’t mention Queen nor the tabloid that made the false allegation (Daily Star). Lambert later added “That being said, I’m truly flattered by your jump to such glorious conclusions Mr. journalist!!”

Fans reacted to the Lambert news with comments like “the most important thing is that you know what you have said… You don’t have to explain yourself to anyone… Those ones who matter don’t mind, those ones who mind don’t matter.” Another added “Don’t worry Adam some reporters have nothing better to do than make up stuff and they don’t listen not all.”

Adam Lambert “Better Than I Know Myself” Music Video Delivers Praise

Adam Lambert Better Than I Know Myself Music Video Delivers Praise

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Adam Lambert’s Better Than I Know Myself music video has debuted. In Lambert’s Better Than I Know Myself, Adam delivers a stunning visual journey that supplements his stellar vocals and masterful lyrics for his latest album.

In announcing to fans and news the video’s release, Adam said “Almost time for the video premiere. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” But this time, the reaction is virtually all positive for the music video’s visually rich delivery.

Lambert has been earning fans praise all week long. Days ago he said “A big thank you to all of the adamlambertfans.com who signed this awesome birthday card for me”

In related news, an Adam Lambert Queen tour 2012 still remains unconfirmed by the singer today. A British “tabloid”, as stressed by MTV news, is allegedly that Adam Lambert will tour with Queen for 2012 tour dates. Neither Lambert nor Queen have confirmed the news to MTV as of this morning.

In November, Lambert appeared on stage with Brian May at the MTV Europe Awards. “After the EMAs, I heard faint little slithers of a backlash from people saying: ‘You can’t replace Freddie Mercury.’ But I already knew that,” Lambert tells news “There’s no intention in my mind of replacing Freddie. That’s impossible. The way I’m choosing to view it is that it’s a great honor and one I’m in no way going to shirk … Being asked to front Queen is the best thing that can possibly happen.”

So is Adam really touring with Queen or not? MTV says “Lambert reportedly told the British tabloid, Daily Star, that he will, in fact, hit the road this summer with original members guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor to play a string of dates”. But when sought for confirmation, neither a Queen nor Lambert representative could confirm the news to MTV.

In December, Lambert released “Better Than I Know Myself”. His second studio album Trespassing will be released on March 20.
