Bride Killed, Limo Fire: Neriza Fojas Death Baffles LimoStop dead death died

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The bride killed in a limo fire Saturday, Neriza Fojas, prompts an investigation today. Neriza Fojas (photos below) was the bide killed in a limo fire Saturday night. She was traveling in a LimoStop limo just weeks before her overseas wedding. While reported as the “bride killed in a limo fire” by local news, Neriza Fojas has already been married legally in the U.S. . She was set to repeat her wedding ceremonies in the Philippines in June. But Saturday night, suddenly Fojas’s limousine caught fire on the San Mateo Bridge caught on fire. Within two minutes, Fojas’s entire limo was burning. Within seconds, five people died including Fojas, with four persons surviving including the driver.

The bride killed in the limo fire Saturday has left San Mateo County firefighters and California Highway Patrol investigators baffled. How an entire limo, driving along across the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge, catch fire within two minutes? No collision was involved. LimoStop has no explanation for the tragedy. And officers have no explanation either.

It appears that the fire erupted in the rear of the limo, not the front. A massive explosion appeared in the back of the vehicle, not from the engine. One third of the back of the limo was burned to its frame. CHP officer Amelia Jack told local news that officers have never seen anything like it.

Rosita Guardiano, the mother of one of the survivors, says the smoke made it difficult for the women to get out of the car. The driver, Orville Brown, 46, was the only person to escape uninjured.
