 Utah Earthquake Today 2013 Felt in Nevada


LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Utah earthquake today 2013 has been felt in Nevada. The Utah earthquake today Thursday, February 07, 2013 erupted shortly after 1 pm local time. No reports of damage have yet to be indicated by local news.

Officials tell news that a 3.5 magnitude quake erupted in Utah Thursday with no depth. The quake began only one mile below the earth’s surface. As a result the quake could be felt across the region.

USGS indicates to news that the quake was five miles west of Enoch. The quake also started eight miles west of Cedar City and sixteen miles west of Paorwan. Officials also tell news that the quake was seventy-seven miles east of Caliente, Nevada and one hundred sixty miles east of Las Vegas.,

In February last year, a 3.7 magnitude quake began east of Elk Ridge, roughly eight miles outside of the city. The quake was also nine miles east of Salem, fifteen miles east of Santaquin. Then in November a 3.1 magnitude quake began outside Hooper. The quake was thirty-two miles west of Hooper, thirty-three miles west of Plain City. The quake also erupted fifty-six miles northwest of West Valley City and Salt Lake City.
