This season, the Badgers stats have been dominated by Kaminsky. Per game he is leading points, with eighteen, and rebounds, with eight. Jackson tops assists with three while Kaminsky has three as well. Meantime Dekker is delivering thirteen points per game, and Hayes is producing sixth rebounds per battle.
Wildcats stats, in turn, have been dominated by Towns and Harrison. Per game Harrison is leading points with eleven while Towns is toping rebound with seven. Ulis meantime is producing four assists per battle. Before the NCAA Tournament Final Four, Calipari told his players to think 0-0. “Everybody is 0-0,” Calipari tells ESPN. “Whether you’re Duke, Michigan State, Wisconsin or us, everybody’s record is the same. We’re all feeling the same thing. We all want to win a national title.”
Meantime, this week Frank Kaminsky was named AP Player of the year. And John Calipari was named coach of the year. But Calipari has still been critical. He tells ESPN that he was not happy with his team’s performance against Notre Dame, a game that they won by only two points. They were tied also at halftime. “We didn’t play very well and Notre Dame, I thought, controlled the whole thing, but we made the plays. We figured out a way to win it. We’ve had other tests, but we have a will to win.” For live score results Saturday of all March Madness Men’s 2015 Bracket games, click HERE, and for a printable bracket of the NCAA Tournament 2015 and the Final Four, click HERE, and for a video about tonight’s game see below.
