Porto vs Sevilla 2014 Score Prompts UEFA Europa League Leg 1 Results live score results today soccer

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Porto vs Sevilla 2014 (en vivo live score results below) delivers a soccer battle today April 3, 2014 in roughly two hours from now. The game is a quarterfinals match for the UEFA Europa League 2014 results. The game is the first leg of a two leg round.

Today’s Porto vs Sevilla 2014 game (start time 12:05 pm PST) features two teams coming off of differing records. Sevilla has four wins and one loss in their last five matches. Proto in turn has two wins, two losses and one draw in their last five matches. Porto is currently third in the Primeira Liga Table. They are holding forty-nine points, fifteen points out of first position. Sevilla in turn is currently in fifth position in Primera Division Table. They are holding fifty points currently.

Sevilla is coming off that 1-0 loss to Celta da Vigo in PRD League action in March. Sevilla midfielder Juan Iborra told Marca News this week his thoughts about the game. “It was just an accident. The important thing is that we learn from our mistakes, improve and continue to work hard. We did a great job defensively and we had chances to win.”

Iborra further tells his team’s news site that Porto should be a formidable opponent Thursday. “We are fully focused on this game. Porto have a lot of history and we have maximum respect for them. They have played in the Champions League this season and are considered favorites to go through. They have great players like Jackson (Martinez) and (Ricardo) Quaresma while they are very strong at the back.” Iborra added “They may not be getting the results they want in the domestic competition and they will be very eager to go all the way in Europe. We know it’s going to be difficult but we are enthusiastic and determined to do well. We are capable of bringing back home a good result.”

Meantime Porto striker Jackson told Cadena Ser news this week that Sevilla is dangerous on scoring. “Sevilla are dangerous when playing on the road and we will have to be careful not to concede a goal. It would be good to score and take an advantage with us for the return leg.” For live score results today click HERE, and for results of all other games today click HERE.
