ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The NIT Bracket 2014 Final Four schedule tips off today with college basketball returning to Madison Square Garden. Several of them took spots on the AP Top 25 College Basketball rankings throughout the season. But will happen when they head to the NIT Semifinals schedule tonight April 1, 2014 in New York?
The NIT Bracket 2014 Final Four schedule for 4/1/14 (live score results below) features the Clemson vs SMU 2014 game followed by the Florida State vs Minnesota 2014 game. Of the four college basketball NIT teams remaining, all are number one seeds with the exception of Clemson. The teams are representing the Big Ten, ACC and AAC.
Clemson ended the regular season with a 23-12record while going 10-8 in the ACC. Florida State, in turn, had virtually the same overall and league record. Florida State went 23-19 overall and 9-9 in the ACC. Meantime, Minnesota is the only team in the Final Four with a losing league record. They went 8-10 in the Big Ten during the regular season and 23-13 overall. SMU, in turn, impressed new with a 26-9 overall record and 12-6 AAC record.
Today’s college basketball NIT games will both air on the ESPN2 Channel. The Clemson-SMU game tips off at 7 pm EST followed by the Florida State – Minnesota 2014 game at 9 pm EST. The Championship college basketball NIT game will be April 3, 2014, from Madison Square Garden, at 7 pm EST on ESPN.
