ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The Mega Millions March 11, 2014 winning numbers last night produced no big winner, reps tell news. So the draw is rolling over once again. As a result, the 3/14/14 Mega Millions winning numbers will break a new U.S. record. Officials tell news this morning that Friday’s 11 pm draw will be the first largest in U.S. history. Moreover, as LALATE reported last night, there have been no draws in U.S. history that at this payout level still didn’t produce winners.
In a news statement about Mega Millions last night, reps this morning indicate that there were no big winners, but several smaller winners, last night. So that has prompted a massive jump in Friday’s payday. Reps indicate to news that a winning ticket for Mega Millions Friday March 14, 2014 will be worth three hundred fifty-three million dollars. The cash option will be huge. It currently sits at one hundred ninety-four million dollars. And those numbers can still change. The draw results will announced live at 11 pm EST Friday.
Officials are predicting massive sales this week. An “estimated $353 million Mega Millions jackpot ($194 million cash option) will attract lottery players across the country this Friday. At that level, the prize ranks as the fifth largest jackpot in Mega Millions history”, reps add.
Some people became instant millionaires last night, however. “Two tickets hit five of the six numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing (9, 14, 56, 57 and 69) but missed the Mega Ball of 10 to fall short of the jackpot prize.” Mega Millions further tells news that “the Match 5 winning tickets, worth $1 million each, were purchased in Texas and Washington. A total of 95 Match 5 winning tickets have been sold since the Mega Millions matrix changed last October.” For winning numbers this week from Powerball and Mega Millions click HERE.
