LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – An Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks divorce storyline struck RHOA last season. At the time, Apollo and Phaedra called the storyline fake. In the months that followed, Nida claimed that Kenya Moore sought to bed him, an allegation she denied. Kenya Moore already was dating her new boyfriend, her African Prince, D’Banj (photos below), as LALATE exclusively reported at the time.
Ultimately, Phaedra Parks told Nida that she would not tolerate him text messaging other women going forward, including Kenya. And while RHOA viewers have been wondering if a Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks divorce is likely, Kenya Moore this week tells news that allegedly that are big strains on the couple’s marriage.
Previously Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks sat back at the Pillow Talk as Nida told guests that he spends eight thousand dollars a months on “dance” clubs, even though he has children and a wife at home to support. Nida defended the remark with the comment with “it’s my money” and asserting that he could do anything he wants with his money.
After Sunday’s RHOA telecast, Kenya Moore released her latest statements about Apollo and Phaedra’s marriage. And the allegations are far more than RHOA typical shade. She says “I’m not the other woman for her to hate. In fact, she should be thanking me for not being interested in Apollo.” Kenya further claims “I never was and I never will be. We know his eyes are never on her and that’s painful for any woman to experience.”
Kenya further tells news “We have all been there and we all see who Apollo really is. Unfortunately, I don’t think she is capable of the truth or interested in facts”. But what happens between Kenya and Apollo on next week’s episode? “In next week’s episode I try to get the truth out of Apollo once and for all, and the apology I deserve for the hateful lies. Wait for it”. Last Sunday, Kenya passed judgment on Phaedra and Apollo’s marriage, and Porsha and Kordell’s marriage. But Moore tells news that she doesn’t have to be married to judge a married couple. “A ring doesn’t define me. Call me a hopeless romantic, but I’d rather be unmarried or in a loving relationship than be in an arranged marriage or with someone who acts as though they can’t stand me half the time. “
The bigger question remains, however, is why Parks has blogged so little for Bravo in recent weeks. Parks and Nida have yet to comment about Moore’s latest allegations.
