ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The AP Top 25 NCAA College Basketball Poll 2014 revealed your final standings for the regular season on Monday March 10, 2014. The week nineteen standings put Florida, Wichita State, and Villanova at one to three, as predicted by LALATE previously. They were followed by Arizona, Louisville Virginia and Duke. Finally Michigan, San Diego State and Kansas rounded out the top ten.
With the start of March Madness NCAA College Basketball Final Four Action just days away, some other action continues this week. Last night, following the announcement of the final AP Top 25 NCAA College Basketball Poll for your regular 2014 season, the MAAC Men’s Championship Final was played at Springfield, MA. And final score on Manhattan vs. Iona was 71-68. The Southern Conference Men’s Championship Final was played at Asheville. And that game between W Carolina vs. Wofford ended in a 53-56 final score.
Out on the west coast, Las Vegas hosted the semifinals last night in the West Coast Conference Men’s Tournament. San Francisco vs. BYU went into overtime but delivered a 77-79 final score. And St Mary’s vs. Gonzaga had a 54-70 blowout.
Today March 11, 2014, NCAA Men’s College Basketball games continue for non AP Top 25 teams. The Horizon League Men’s Championship Final will be played between Milwaukee vs. Wright State. The game will air on the ESPN channel with a 7 pm EST start time. Elsewhere, the ESPN2 channel at the same start time will host the Northeast Conference Men’s Tournament final between Mount St Mary’s vs. Robert Morris.
Then at 9 pm EST, the two channels will host two more games. ESPN will carry from Las Vegas the West Coast Conference Men’s Tournament final while the ESPN2 channel also at a start time of 9 pm EST will feature the Summit League’s Men’s Championship Final of IPFW vs. North Dakota State.
