Rodgers admits that Hull City has been strong lately. “They’re coming off the back of a victory that doesn’t happen too often when you’re in the Premier League, especially when it’s 0-0 at half-time. It was a terrific result. But we were very disappointed in our performance level there.” He adds “We were nowhere near the standard we would expect, although you have to give credit to Hull – they exposed that on the day. “We aim to make sure that no matter what squad we have or team we put out, we don’t make the same mistakes again because home games are vitally important for us.”
Meantime midfielder Robert Koren tells his team’s news site that Hull City can break higher in the EPL rankings. “We’re halfway through the season now and we’ve got points on the board. It’s been a really good start.” He adds “But this is the Premier League and we know we have to keep up our concentration in every game because we know that three points are available every time we play. From past experience, we know that this is a really tough league.” For live score results today click HERE.
