ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Did anyone win Mega Millions in last night’s results for December 10, 2013? No one selected the Mega Millions winning number for 12-10-13 last night, officials tell news. So big results are planned for Friday. Last Friday’s draw was the biggest for the game this year. But this Friday’s draw will be the second biggest in the game’s entire history.
The Mega Millions winning numbers for December 10, 2013 were 5, 12, 22, 41, 65, Mega: 13, Megaplier: 2. But no one correctly selected them. So the draw is growing fast. Officials now estimate that Friday could be worth $400 million with a cash option of $216 million. But as reported on LALATE in recent days, these draws are increasing in the final hours before the results are announced. For now, these are the estimated projected payouts for Friday.
Ironically even at this level, Mega Millions is reaching a new record. Last Friday’s numbers carried the highest payout for 2013. But this Friday’s payouts are carrying the second highest payout in the game’s entire history. Moreover, it is also the fifth highest payout ever for lottery draw in U.S. history. The highest draw for Mega Millions was achieved last year at $656 million. That draw had winners from Maryland, Kansas and Illinois.
Before last night’s announcement, officials told news “Tuesday’s estimated jackpot of $344 million is the fourth largest prize in the history of Mega Millions, and the largest since the world record $656 million won on March 30, 2012. The jackpot has been building since it was last won in Maryland on October 1.”
But there have been some individual winners of “smaller” prizes. “While no one hit all six winning numbers in Friday’s drawing, there were four individual tickets sold worth $1 million each. Winning $1 million tickets were sold in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Washington.” For other Mega Millions and Powerball results this week click HERE.
