Stanford impressed news this week with that 38-14 win over Arizona State. In that game, Hogan had two hundred seventy-seven yards passing. He completed twelve of eighteen attempts, delivering one touchdown and no interceptions. Gaffney led team rushing. He produced one hundred thirty-three yards rushing for Stanford, three touchdowns, on twenty-two carriers.
Montgomery scored on both rushing and receiving. He had one rushing touchdown on one carry, over twenty-two yards. And he had sixty-nine yards on five catches.
Tyler Gaffney told ESPN news after that game “We had some downs this year, but we love each other. Being here makes it all worth it.” Arizona State coach Todd Graham told ESPN after his team’s loss “They dominated the game and beat us every way you can tonight.
