LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Paul Walker funeral arrangements for December 2013 remain pending. And Paul Walker’s autopsy report results could be delayed as well. Fans today are wondering if the Paul Walker’s funeral arraignments will feature a public memorial. Meantime, Roger Rodas, the CEO of Walker’s company Always Evolving, was identified as the driver of Walker’s car and its owner late Saturday.
Paul Walker’s funeral arrangements, autopsy report results, and corner findings are all delayed as Los Angeles County Fire Officials aid local investigators today at the car crash scene. The crash erupted in the early afternoon Saturday November 30, 2013 in Valencia, a section of Southern California. The crash happened in the 28300 block of Rye Canyon Loop just after 3:30 pm.
Walker was a passenger in a red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that was owned and driven by business partner Rodas. The two had been friends for years and has business interest in the automotive business, located in Valencia. Walker and Rodas reportedly owned several exotic cars and kept them on around the Valencia area. It repairs unknown how long that Rodas had owned the GT at the time of its crash.
The cause of the crash still remains unknown. Investigators have not yet determined if the cause of the crash was human error or mechanical. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department issued a news statement late yesterday that read “When they arrived, deputies found the vehicle engulfed in flames. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded, extinguished the fire and subsequently located two victims inside the vehicle. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.” A friend of the pair Antonio Holmes tried to save their lives. He broke open fire extinguishers at the scene.
Relativity president Tucker Tooley issued a statement Saturday which read “We are shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of Paul Walker. Paul was an incredibly talented artist, devoted philanthropist and friend. Our hearts go out to his family, and our thoughts and prayers are with them.” Paul Walker will be greatly missed.
