LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – A Kenya Moore boyfriend, a purported Nigerian Prince, heated up RHOA tonight. Who is Kenya Moore’s boyfriend 2013, are they still dating, what is Kenya Moore’s net worth, and is Kenya still dating her Nigerian Prince?
LALATE can anticipate that viewers may not see Kenya Moore’s “African Oil Tycoon” aka “Nigerian Prince” this season on RHOA. Moore in the 2012-2013 reunion show said that she was unwilling to name the Prince, nor bring him on the show. In the months that followed, Kenya Moore teased some facets to viewers.
Initially Moore called her boyfriend an “International Oil Tycoon”. Soon she was identifying him as an “African Oil Tycoon”. And later, it was far more specific as a “Nigerian Oil Tycoon”. Tonight Kenya Moore on RHOA used the expression “Nigerian Prince”.
So who is this guy, are they engaged, is Kenya in fact already married, or have they broken up? LALATE can report that Moore is believed to have begun dating her man in fall of last year and as early as spring of 2013.
On December 27, 2012, Kenya Moore’s friend D’banj appeared in concert in Lagos, Nigeria. LALATE believes that Kenya’s boyfriend is also from Lagos, Nigeria. LALATE also believes that Moore’s introduction to her boyfriend may have come from D’banj between late last year and early this year.
Kenya Moore’s ties to Nigeria have been documented since last winter. In spring 2013, she has shared pictures alongside Nigerian superstar D’banj. At the time, the two purportedly were in Houston. Moore was attending a taping of WWHL from Texas and D’banj was appearing in concert.
Is Kenya engaged? No she is not, LALATE can report. Recently Moore sent an Instagram picture with a “wedding ring” on. It’s not her wedding ring but in fact the same ring she wears in opening credits for RHOA. That day she simply switched the ring to her wedding finger and created a media frenzy, a trick first exploited with Paris Hilton and Benji Madden years ago.
So is Kenya still dating her prince? When asked who she was dating, she recently told news that “I keep several [men] on deck hunty.”
So who is the Nigerian Prince? As first reported on LALATE exclusively back in April, it is possible that he is one of the sons of Folorunsho Alakija, the most famous Nigerian Oil Tycoon today. In 2012, Ventures Africa published a news report claiming that the beautiful Folorunsho Alakija had passed Oprah Winfrey as the richest black woman in the world.
But unlike Oprah, Folorunsho Alakija’s greatest wealth came only since the year 2000. She is the founder and owner of Fama Oil. Fama Oil owns 60% in OML 127 which is worth in excess of $6.44 billion. Her net worth remains in dispute. Ventures Africa in 2012 put it excess of $3.2 billion. Forbes that same year listed the her net worth at $600 million, compared to Oprah’s $2.7 billion dollar net worth.
