LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Ravens vs. Steelers 2013 (live score results below) just ended the first quarter. Current score is 3-7 after an early drive by Pittsburgh. Today’s Ravens vs. Steelers 2013 game features the 1-4 Steelers hoping to improve on a troubling season. They are hosting the 3-3 Ravens.
But today, Ben Roethlisberger scored first on a three yard touchdown pass to Heath Miller. Shaun Suisham’s kick thereafter was good. It ended a ten play drive that took six minutes and spanned sixty yards. Just before the end of the first quarter, Baltimore’s Justin Tucker hit an impressive forty-six yard field goal.
So far Roethlisberger is five of seven pass attempts. He has one touchdown, no interceptions and forty-eight yards passing. Flacco in turn has only forty-three yards passing at the end of the first quarter.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told ESPN this week that he is putting in place lots of changes on both team offense and defense. “There’s a lot that goes into it. There are many different things that we’ve looked at over the last few days to try to improve. We definitely have the men to do the job. We’ve got the talent up front and at running back.” He adds “You can’t consistently run for two yards a carry and be what you want to be as an offense,” Harbaugh said.
Meantime, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told ESPN “Obviously, they’re a talented, capable team led by superstars in all three phases and they’re defending world champs. They don’t need an endorsement from me.” For live score results today click HERE.
