LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Powerball 10-16-13 winning numbers last night prompted no big winner. So the draw is rolling over to October 19, 2013. Officials tell news that no one correctly got all the winning numbers last night in Powerball’s huge October 16 draw. So this Saturday, the draw will be worth a massive one hundred eighty-six million dollars, with a cash value of one hundred six million dollar cash value.
Officials tell news that the Powerball winning numbers for 10-16-13 were 3, 26, 28, 34, 42, Powerball: 28. But no one got them all correctly. There was no Match Five two million dollar winner as well. There were, however, three Match Five one million dollar winners. They heralded from California, Kansas and Massachusetts. Overall, there were roughly seven hundred thousand winners last night picking up seven million dollars in prizes, reps tell news.
Two people who know what it feels like to win Powerball are Mary Beth and David Wenell of Eden Prairie. In August 2004 they won a $98.7 million jackpot. “We didn’t realize what happened until we saw on the news that there was a Minnesota winner,” David told news at the time. “They said to ‘check your tickets’ — so we did.”
He added “I’m a dreamer — I’ve always dreamed of winning something like that. It’s fun to think about”. At the time officials told news that the win was the “second highest jackpot prize ever won in Minnesota. The Wenells have decided to take the $53.1 million cash option ($35.9 million after withholding).” For Mega Millions and Powerball results this week click HERE.
