LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – There are more African billionaires that originally believed, claims a new report by Ventures Africa today. Bravo told viewers at the end of RHOA season that Kenya Moore’s new boyfriend 2013 is an African billionaire, an oil tycoon. At the time, there was believed to be only one major African oil tycoon family. But today African Ventures indicates that there is not one but fifty five.
African Ventures Editor-in-chief Uzodinma Iweala tells news today that there are now fifty-five African billionaires worth a collective $143.88 billion. The richest is Nigerian manufacturer Aliko Dangote worth $20.2 billion. Making the list is Kenyan industrialist Manu Chandaria and Egyptian property tycoon Mohammed Al-Fayed.
But there are two billionaires making the list who are only thirty-eight years old. And one of them is an oil tycoon. Mohammed Dewji of Tanzania and Nigerian oil trader Igho Sanomi are identified by the newspaper today. Still atop the list of women is oil tycoon Folorunsho Alakija, with a net worth of $7.3 billion.
When asked by Andy Cohen who is her new boyfriend, Moore said “I don’t wanta talk about it” and indicated that she was very happy. Recently Moore fueled engagement reports after appearing with a diamond ring on her wedding finger.
Moore reportedly, however, has broken up with her “oil tycoon”. She has been rumored to be now dating Roger Bobb, President and CEO of Bobbcat Films. The new season of RHOA returns to Bravo this fall.
