LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Sara Bittorf of Boston Market returns to Undercover Boss tonight. The episode is a rerun before the new season of Undercover Boss starts next Friday. Sara Bittorf is the Chief Brand Officer of Boston Market.
Tonight on Undercover Boss, Bittorf decides whether to fire an employee on national television. CBS tell news that that Sara “makes the crucial decision to terminate an employee after he makes disparaging comments about the customers.” Bittorf tonight will do everything from handle a drive-thru operation to carving a chicken.
Bittorf was anxious to take tonight’s role. CBS tell news that “Boston Market is currently at a crucial point in its company history”. The company is seeking to “contemporize its operation. After being founded in the mid-80’s, the corporation grew very rapidly in a few short years, unfortunately it was too quickly and Boston Market went bankrupt. As the company slowly regains it’s presence in the fast casual market, a need to contemporize has become apparent.”
Bittorf is in charge of improving the brand relationship both with buyers and inside the company.
Tonight she will take on four roles as the Undercover Boss.
First, she will become an Hourly Shift Supervisor. But as producers tell news, trouble erupts shortly after Bittorf shows up at work. “What will Sara do when she comes face to face with an employee who doesn’t follow the Boston Market motto?” Bittorf then takes on the role of instant General Manager where she learns that employees are not being given adequate breaks during their shifts. Then she heads to a drive-thru. But with a fast pace operation, Bittorf might not keep up. Finally as an Assistant General Manager, she finds an unlikely employee who might be overworked.
