BMW Championship Leaderboard 2013 Live: Tiger Woods Seeks Win winner

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The BMW Championship Leaderboard 2013 live round 4 results are underway. But late yesterday, Tiger Woods made a huge jump in results for round three. Many golfing analysts are now wondering can Tiger Woods win the BMW Championship 2013 today?

BMW Championship Leaderboard 2013 live results on Thursday prompted many to note Tiger’s impressive start. When Tiger Woods opens a tournament with a sixty-six round or better, like the BMW on Thursday, roughly fifty percent of the time Tiger wins that tournament. The other fifty percent of the time Tiger finishes in the top ten.

Tiger struggled in scores on Friday, delivering only a seventy-two. But on Saturday, Tiger produced one of the best scores of any golfer in the top ten at the BMW Championship. Woods came back with a sixty-six. That jumped him from out of the top ten back into fifth place. It will help him going to the conclusion of the FedEx Cup in Atlanta next weekend.

BMW Championship Leaderboard results currently have Tiger four strokes off the lead. For now at least two rounds, Jim Furyk has remained with a strong hold on the number one position. He is currently thirteen under. On Saturday he delivered a sixty-nine.

But the other surprise on Saturday was Steve Stricker. He came in with a sixty-four round Saturday, pushing him into the number two position on the BMW leaderboard ahead of Brandt Snedeker who fell back to third place. Stricker is twelve under, Snedeker is eleven under. In fourth place is Zach Johnson at ten under.

A golfer in the BMW Championship must finish in the top thirty to advance to Atlanta next weekend. Several golfers are on the brink of elimination from this FedEx Cup. They include Phil Mickelson, currently in thirty-first place, Adam Scott at forty-sixth place, Lee Westwood at sixty-eighth place, and Angel Cabrera at fiftieth place.

So can Tiger Woods become the BMW Championship winner today? He admits he now has a chance. “I had a nice little run to at least get myself in there where I have a chance tomorrow,” Woods told ESPN. For BMW Leaderboard live results today click HERE.
